Based on an improvement i would like to make within the nhs. My innovation i have chosen is for a dementia link nurse to help out with dementia patients on the wards, so security are used less. My idea is, dementia patients are occupied more by an activities coordinator assigned to travel across all wards that cover dementia patients. To work with them and to be able to provide the best care without involving and security or consuming the time of other staff members. This designated staff member will be called if needed.
