I am required to make a narrated presentation slide pack on Change Innovation to help addressing a case study issue, the presentation should be 15 mins long but not up to 16mins.
My Chosen Topic: Residential Home
The Scenario:
A newly appointed nurse has raised concerns to the residential home owner about unprofessional, inappropriate communication and dialogue used by the professional staff and care assistants regarding patients in their care which appears disrespectful and demeaning.
This appears to emanate from behaviour that has become normalised by the Matron in charge who has been working at the home for over ten years and is responsible for induction of new staff. Some patients have become angry and distressed at what is said to them and complaints by family members to the Matron are dismissed.
Recruitment and retention of staff at the home has been problematic for a number of years.

CASE STUDY 2: Focused Throat Exam Lily is a 20-year-old student at the local community college.
