I work in a intensive care unit .And I would like to address the issues of mentoring and supervising the overseas nurses.the need of working with a pdn during supernumerary period .Especially in the time of covid, no proper mentoring and supervising is going on .

To explore and critique my matron leadership in an acute mental health setting and how this impacts on providing compassion for patients and staff but also encourages staff to be compassionate. At the same time providing patient safety and staff inclusivity. My literature review and findings have been partially written by another writer which is ok. But unfortunately they did not provide me with any print out of 3 databases that they used and this is crucial for submission. My dissertation needs to ensure that it follows an ontological, ethnographical, interpretivist approach. For this assignment we have had to come up with an innovation in which we would like to implement to improve a NHS service. My innovation is to introduce a blood test in to the a and e departments that tests for GHB or any other drug used which is used to spike people, I was these drug tests to be mandatory only for people claiming to have been spiked or presented to hospital with any symptoms that suggest they have been spiked. These blood tests are not carried out under the NHS they are only carried out privately usually under police care. I want to make this implement to take some strain of the NHS in the instances of long term mental health issues that arise because of people being spiked. I also want to implement this to stop the stigma around people being too drunk and not being able to handle there alcohol. Within this I need to be looking at the short term and long term costs on the NHS, time scale on implementation, I also need to address the pros and cons of me implementing this change.
I need to be discussing theories and implementation of this new development and how it will improve patient care.

We have been asked to identify a service innovation and implement change management. I have therefore decided to introduce/innovate (Anti-bedsore Turnover Cushion) a multifunctional device to aid turning bedridden patients in bed. The device will enable only 1 healthcare staff to attend to the needs of patients instead of 2 staff. Which in turn cut-down staffing cost. It will further allow easy access when cleaning patients in bed, changing their pads, elevating their legs, turning patients over to prevent pressure sores etc. I have attached a link which will enable the writer to watch a video demonstrating how the device works. I work tuesdays, fridays, and saturdays from 2pm to 10:30 pm as an LPN. have clincals on Tuesdays, mdc stimulations on Wednesdays from 2-7 pm. Also have ATI proctor exams on med surge, leadership, community health and comprehension. Have mdc and capstone virtual class from 9-12 noon and 1-4 pm respectively.
