Part 1: Research and Data Collection
Historical Context
Research the origins and historical representations of monsters in folklore and literature. Focus on how these representations have evolved over time.

Investigate various monsters in a specific culture (e.g., vampires, zombies, aliens) and their respective cultural significance. Consider what societal fears or anxieties they represent.
Media Analysis

Part 3: Presentation of Findings
Written Report
Compile your research and analysis into a comprehensive report. Include an introduction, body paragraphs for each research question, and a conclusion synthesizing your findings.
Visual Component
Create a visual representation (e.g., poster, PowerPoint, infographic) that highlights key aspects of your analysis. This should complement your written report.

He is bilingual. Until age 4, he lived in Kenya. Since then, he has lived in Canada. As a mental health worker, he has decided to start a group for recent immigrants from Africa. He is aware of his heritage as well as his values, but he is not as familiar with the lives of recent immigrants. Because he is married and the father of young children, Edward does not have time to participate in many new cultural experiences. However, he approaches his group with new knowledge he has attained through attending a recent course on the lives of African immigrants. He has also conducted personal interviews with some recent immigrants. Therefore, he believes he is prepared to address situations affecting his group members when the group begins. The Writing Assignment (Paper) AND the Power Point Topic MUST be the same.
Please be guided by the following:
Paper (Writing Assignment):
1. 2-pages of content, 12-point font size, double-spaced. Use 2 references.
2. There should be a title page, then 2 pages of content, then the last page should be your references/citations page. Use Microsoft Word or similar format.
3. Papers must abide by the requirements in the Writing Assignment Guidelines.
4. Regarding the Drop Box for the Writing Assignment (Paper) – You can submit your Paper to the Paper Drop Box as many times as you wish to test your Safe Assign Similarity Score. It MUST be 25% or less. Only the last submission to the Paper Drop Box will receive a grade.
5. For the paper, refer to the Writing Assignment Guidelines for additional information. Make sure you are fully aware of the due date and time along with the requirements for submission. DO NOT simply paraphrase your paper from other sources or plagiarize.
Power Point Presentation:
1. The Power Point must be submitted to the Power Point Drop Box by the due date/time.
2. The Power Point will be the same subject matter as your Paper (Writing Assignment).
3. The Power Point should be approximately 5-6 slides total. A separate cover slide must have the subject title and student name. The cover slide does not count as 1 of the 5-6 slides.

Choose an Aviation Ethical Dilemma and make sure you cover all angles of the issue. Include history of the ethical issue or issues, what laws or regulatory rules may have been broken, or what laws protect against such unethical behavior/s.
Think about things like ethics in aviation safety, ethics of pilots, airport administrators, air traffic controllers, mechanics, ramp workers, baggage handlers and many others, not limited to politicians with a stake in aviation, cities and municipalities with airports on them, and what about unethical behavior by airports themselves perhaps such as too many not climate friendly emissions, oil and fuel spills, flight attendants, passengers being unethical.

Overview
You are an HR specialist for a company that manufactures shoes. Recently, you noticed that turnover has increased, specifically with newly hired production associates working less than 60 days. You designed an exit survey for those who recently resigned and have received 100 responses so far.
Based on this feedback, you are asked to recommend changes to the recruiting and selection process.
You are also asked to ensure the organization is attracting talent from a diverse pool of candidates.
The production associate position has not historically attracted talent from various diverse backgrounds.
Production associates can be trained on the equipment if they have not operated the machines before.
Associates use measuring tools but are not writing extensively or performing complex mathematical calculations.
Although the role requires long periods of standing, some roles are performed seated. Employees usually rotate through these stations for four hours at a time.
The company prides itself on crafting very light shoes; as such, the typical lifting weight is 25 pounds at the most.
Production associates receive training to advance to the Production Associate II position or into lead roles.
Consider this information in conjunction with the desire to attract a more diverse talent pool and the exit survey results when making edits to the job description.
The job description and job advertisement (job posting) need to address both the turnover concerns and the attraction of diverse talent. Once you attract talent, the team will need some guidance on interviewing for selection of talent.
Furthermore, to provide a great employee experience, you will need to develop onboarding and orientation guidance that will help the department managers retain and motivate the newly hired talent.
Directions
For this milestone, you will develop the first section of a recruitment and retention package for management that will include the following:
Using Microsoft Excel, assemble the exit survey data into a graph that displays the most significant reasons for turnover and what employees liked about the role. Display the resulting graph and a brief description of the most significant reasons for turnover, as well as what employees liked about the role. Next, edit the Production Associate job description to help address the turnover reasons and strategies to attract a diverse talent pool. Then, draft a job advertisement (job posting) that not only attracts a diverse talent pool but also helps to address the positive and negative attributes of the role you observed from the exit survey data.
In Module Four, the second part of the project will include the following: Develop two interview questions that will be included in the screening process to help ensure a strong match. Finally, draft a memo to the department manager that identifies:
The reasons for turnover
New steps in onboarding and orientation
Allocation of the new steps
Impact of new steps in addressing turnover reasons or turnover challenges being addressed
