Determine your stance and make an argument. Write a 1,250-1,500 word (not including your cover page or Works Cited) paper that smoothly incorporates at least five sources (from PracticalArgument, two from different sources in the PDCCC database, and two from sources of your choice). Be sure to discuss each fact/quote you incorporate into your essay. Do not simply collect facts and quotes to include in your essay; instead elaborate upon them, refute them, qualify them, question them, etc.
The format of your paper should follow this structure:
introduction—include an argumentative thesis
background/context of your topic (may be incorporated in your introduction)
your argument & support for your argument (this is the bulk of your paper)
counterargument
refutation of counterargument
conclusion

MLA formatting
