Accomplish Week 3
You must respond to the following questions. You are expected to use your textbooks and any other scholarly resources you might find helpful in order to participate in the conversation.

Make proper citations in your answers as well as bibliography for scholarly resources as well. If you use any source beside the textbook, be sure to post a bibliographical reference too
. From the reading on page 2587-2589 on the “Reliability of the New Testament Manuscriipts,” asserts we have certainty that our New Testament translations are translated from trustworthy manuscriipts. Most all of the textual variants can be divided in 4 catagories, List them and explain how they may be resolved. The article says, “In the final analysis…” What? Be specific with your responses and refer to our reading assignment and video content.

3000 words of body text (not counting your title and reference page) discussing, in current Turabian format A. Topic (Critical care Chaplaincy/ Health care) Select 1 of the five types of community-based chaplaincy’s, being sure that every issue is examined as related to community-based chaplaincy and write a solid research-based, real life ministry plan. You must be able to apply the ministry plan in your chosen field of chaplaincy. Ensure that your gifts and abilities are referenced and strategically used in the plan. Also, ensure that the paper is biblically sound in reference to ministry within the chosen type of chaplaincy. B. Formatting The length of the paper must be 3000 words. Points will be taken off if the paper is below 3000 words or exceeds 3600 words (excluding title page and references). Follow current Turabian format. Review the Community Chaplaincy Paper Grading Rubric for guidance and grading factors. The paper will be graded on thoroughness, content, and use of theoretical material and integration of biblical perspective. C. References Include at least 10 current references (within the last 10 years); points will be deducted for each missing current reference. Select ONE of the following worldview in culture topics: (1) Worldview in Film, (2) Worldview in Song, or (3) Worldview in News Media.
(1) Worldview in Film: Watch one film and analyze it from the perspective of discerning worldview ideas. The film must be selected from the list below and must be watched as part of this assignment, even if you have previously viewed the film. (You will watch the film from the fresh perspective of discerning worldview ideas.) Answer the Worldview Analysis Questions. Your answers should reflect clear and critical thinking on worldview ideas expressed in the film. You may choose any one of the following films. The film’s year of release and MPAA rating are noted:

(2) Worldview in Song: Select one song (cannot be a Christian song) and analyze it from the perspective of discerning worldview ideas. The song you select should contain sufficient meaningful content in order to facilitate your analysis. Answer the Worldview Analysis Questions. Your answers should reflect clear and critical thinking on worldview ideas identified in the selected song. Important: The song lyrics (copied and pasted or typed at the end of your paper) or a working link to the song lyrics must be included with your analysis.
(3) Worldview in News Media: Select one news article from a current publication (magazine, newspaper, journal, etc.) and analyze it from the perspective of discerning worldview ideas. An Internet publication is fine but select your article only from a credible source. The article you select should contain sufficient meaningful content in order to facilitate your analysis. Answer the Worldview Analysis Questions. Your answers should reflect clear and critical thinking on worldview ideas identified in the selected article. Important: The article text (copied and pasted at the end of your paper) or a working link to the article must be included with your analysis.
Worldview Analysis Questions
Once you have viewed the film, listened to the song, or read the article you selected, you are ready to answer the Worldview Analysis Questions. Be sure to answer ALL parts of each question. Do not delete the questions. Leave the questions in your paper. Do not use any outside sources.
Answer the following questions for the film, song, or article you analyzed for this assignment. Your answers must be thorough and must reflect clear and critical thinking and analysis of worldview ideas identified in the selected film, song, or article. I suggest you review your selected film, song, or article at least twice. This should help you complete a more thorough analysis. Important: DO NOT simply prepare a summary or a synopsis of the film, song, or article. This is not a “book report”; rather, it is an analysis of the content of the film, song, or article with the goal of identifying worldview ideas. Answer ALL parts of each question using complete sentences. Leave the questions in your paper.
1. Think about your reaction to your selection (film, song, or article).

b. What specific things in your selection caused you to react in this way? Provide at least two specific examples from your selection that explain why you reacted as you did.
2. Think about the main worldview depicted in your selection.
a. Which of the worldviews discussed in Sire’s The Universe Next Door is the main worldview of your selection? b. Describe how each of Sire’s worldview questions is depicted in the main worldview of your selection. Provide at least one specific example (a scene, a lyric, a quote) for each of Sire’s worldview questions. Remember, you are answering this question from the perspective of the main worldview of your selection.

Submit an essay on the topic, “My Personal Worldview.” Relate your personal worldview by answering Sire’s Basic Worldview Questions (see The Universe Next Door). Include a rationale for your beliefs. In other words, as you answer each question, outline what you believe and provide the reason why you believe it. Your paper should include a general introduction to open your paper, Sire’s worldview questions and your answers and rationale for each, and a general conclusion to close your paper.
