The Health Belief Model is one of the most widely used health behavior models. It is a theoretical model that can be used to explain and predict individual changes in health behaviors, as well as guide the development of health education and promotion interventions.
The purpose of this assignment is to apply the health believe model to explain a selected health issue and propose an appropriate intervention. Use the “Guiding Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Health Belief Model Worksheet” to complete this assignment.
You are required to cite at least three sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the criteria and public health content of the assignment.
