Term Paper Instructions
Write an essay using psychoanalysis to explain a characters personality of your choosing. The essay must follow the following format

Begin your paper at the very top of the page. 
Paragraph 1: introduce the essay and Character. Give a brief description of the characters history and demographics.
Paragraph 2: Psychosexual stage fixation . If no fixation, explain why
Define the stage the character is fixated on. Explain what should happen in that stage in order for the person to move on successfully through the stage. Explain what might have happened to the character that made them fixated on this stage.
Paragraph 3: Id , ego ,superego define all three
Where is the most psychic energy devoted in this character? What leads you to believe this?
Paragraph 4: What defense mechanism/Mechanisms does this character employ?
Define the defense mechanism , give two examples
Why was this defense employed ? What was the character avoiding?
Paragraph 5 : How would psycho analysis help this person? Include techniques and rationale behind psychoanalysis as a means of changing personality.
Conclusion: wrap up the essay by briefly reiterating what you have already covered. Try to give a summarizing sentence or two that describes the characters personality. What limitations does psychoanalysis have when it comes to understanding personality? End with a question or what other mechanism/modality you might use to study this characters personality.

Overview
For behavior analysts, determining the function of problem behavior is necessary to develop effective intervention plans. This is common practice not only in clinical applications but within organizations as well. In this assignment, you will pinpoint a workplace performance problem, assess the reason why the problem exists, and identify strategies to improve performance.
Instructions
Identify a performance problem in your current workplace, a previous workplace, or a hypothetical problem in a fictional workplace. Then complete the following:
Provide a brief description (one paragraph) of the workplace.You might include the size of the organization, industry, management hierarchy, supports and resources, limitations, et cetera.
Pinpoint the performance problem.Precisely define the problem behavior so that it is clear, concise, and countable.
Conduct an assessment to determine the factors contributing to the performance problem.Use the PIC/NIC and PDC Template [DOCX] Download PIC/NIC and PDC Template [DOCX]to complete a PIC/NIC analysis and PDC.
Provide an analysis of the assessment results.
Review the scholarly literature, and identify strategies that would address the performance problem based on the results of the assessment.Your strategies should demonstrate compassionate supervisory practices.
Discuss your personal experience with this assignment. Examples of what you might choose to discuss include the following:Do you believe the organization (real, former, or hypothetical) would consider conducting an assessment and implementing strategies to improve the performance problem? A second option for research experience is to summarize research studies presented in your supplemental text Forty Studies that Changed Psychology. Copies of the text are available on reserve in the library. Each summary should be at least three typed double-spaced pages, 12- point font (with no more than 1 inch margins) and include a description of the research problem, the theory being tested, the methodology of the study, the findings, and why the study was important for the study of psychology.

Read the “Case Study Analysis” document and select one of the six case studies.
Write a 1,000-1,500-word analysis of the case study using Freud’s psychoanalytic theory approach. Include the following in your analysis:
What will be the goals of counseling and what intervention strategies are used to accomplish those goals?
Describe the process of treatment using this theory. This should include a description of the length of treatment, the role of the counselor, and the experience of the client as they work from beginning to termination of therapy.
How does this theory address the social and cultural needs of the client? (Cite specific research findings)
Describe valuable insights of coming to understand the client’s unconscious world as the counseling process continues.
How can a counselor implement Freudian processes in counseling without undue risk to the client or the counseling relationship?
Include at least six scholarly references beyond the textbook in your analysis.
