For this paper, you will defend yourself against this (imaginary) charge of injustice. To prepare, you will need to decide (1) what the problem was, (2) what your actions were, (3) why you took those actions, (4) how they ran afoul of your community, & (5) what your defense will be.

Your focus must be on your own community (whatever that may be). This community may be as large as a country or as small as a family or group friends, but it should be one of which you understand yourself to be, and would like to continue to be, a member. In other words: don’t write about upsetting people you already don’t respect or care about; the object is not to antagonize your enemies, but to challenge your friends.
It should be clear to a reader of your paper what audience you are addressing, what you have been accused of, who your accusers are, what your actions were, what reasons you had for taking those actions, and why your audience should change their minds and declare you an agent of justice rather than injustice. Explain the factors that impacted the development of your political ideology. What should you be, republican or democrat, according to the statistics mentioned in the book(I.e. Latino, Catholic, from a working class family…..probably a democrat), discuss whether or not you are consistent with the statistics. Why or why not? 

With the transition of power in democracy comes new policy directives.  Imagine you are the National Economic Advisor in the next presidential administration.  What policy directive would you offer?

Your final paper will build on these two assignments. The final paper should take the form of a bench memo. (We will discuss in class what this will look like). You will play the role of a law clerk to a justice discussing Yates v. United States, and the memo will weigh the case and the arguments, and recommend to your boss how to decide the case in front of them.
You will continue to work on the same case from your two earlier writing assignments. Combine the essays i’ve attached in a paper, touch it up, add on to it, and make it a bench memo. Also use the sources I have incorporated and keep the information accurate and sources accurate. This needs to be an A+ paper. That’s the standard.

Hi, so I have done this assignment in the past, I am retaking the course and would like to reuse my assingment but it needs to be different, not only with words but content. I will upload my old work to give an idea, some points can be reused but I generally want it redone. My work also includes the questions pick different ones from what I used unless you have to use mine.
I will also attach a reading document if clarfication is needed.
