Compare and contrast three philosophic or theological responses to the Holocaust on a single topic.   It can be on their application to a new moral, philosophic or theological topic related to the Holocaust or a parallel situation such as Rwanda, 9/11 or the Yazidi genocide. It can also be an application to an educational or medical situation, or an angle that they did not consider. It can be looked from any angle.
Make sure your paper has three opinions. Three opinions does not mean three sources but three different opinions- the way this class surveys many opinions. The paper is three people’s opinions on one topic. This is comparing and evaluating what other wrote not your attempt at solving big issues. The goal is not to harmonize or combine the opinions but to compare and contrast them as conflicting opinions.

Discussion: Find a fallacy of weak induction or emotional appeal Weak induction fallacies and fallacious appeals to emotion are quite common.  See if you can find one online.  Look at web sites like the NRA; Fox News; NRLC; PETA; and other such political or agenda-driven  organizations.  Comment on another students’ post. Weak induction:  Small sample; unrepresentative sample; questionable cause; slippery slope; faulty analogy; biased experts; irrelevant expertise. Emotional appeals:  Fear; Pity; Anger
