    Parsimony
    Conclusion/summary
References: Use the course text and a minimum of three additional sources, listed in APA format
The paper should be 8–10 pages long and based on instructor-approved theories. It should be typed in Times New Roman using 12-point font, and double-spaced with 1″ margins. APA format must be used, including a properly formatted cover page, in-text citations, and a reference list. The proper use of headings in APA format is also required.
I included a copy of my paper draft and my Turnitin report, I keep on getting flagged for AI even though my Turnitin scores are low.  Here is a comment from my professor “Hi, I have graded your revision. Concerns remain with your paper. I have attached above your Turnitin report from your revision. Even if a student uses Grammarly or other types of help, citations would not be removed. You have presented a lot of information as your own because you have not cited it. You stated this was a very rough draft. For this assignment, the rough draft was to contain all of the elements of the final draft. The rough draft is worth 150 points. The feedback provided for the rough draft is to be used for the final draft that is worth 300 points. It’s basically a redo worth double the points. Unfortunately, your paper is missing many elements that were to be addressed. I would really recommend you download the template that I have provided for completing this assignment.
Thank you, please let me know if you have any questions.

  • Information Literacy Skills for Evidence-Based Practice in Nursing Informatics: A Search Strategy and Resource Evaluation

Write a 700–1000-word paper in which you demonstrate information literacy skills essential for using evidence-based practice in nursing informatics. Find three relevant resources on a singular nursing informatics topic using a Google search, a library database search, and a search from one additional source (video, textbook, newspaper, website, etc.). Identify each resource and provide a concise summary of its content.
Describe your search strategy, source selection, and evaluation.
Resource Identification: Write about the accuracy and relevance of the three resources you’ve selected for the paper. Exemplary performance involves accurately identifying three pertinent resources from a Google search, a library database search, and an additional source.
Resource Summary: Provide a summary for each selected resource. Be concise, comprehensive, and clearly articulate the main points covered.
Search Strategy Description: describe your search strategy.  What search terms did you use to find your selected resources?  Be clear and detailed, outlining the keywords and search terms you’ve used for each source.
Source Selection and Evaluation: Evaluate each source for credibility, relevance, and reliability. Provide a thorough evaluation, considering the strengths and weaknesses of each resource.
Writing Quality and Organization: Use APA formatting. Use the APA format for the student title page,  abstract page, body of your paper, headings, and references page   The word count ranges (700-1000 words) will be considered.  Cover all required content for each of the three resources you’ve identified.
Nursing informatics encompasses a wide range of topics at the intersection of nursing, information science, and technology.  You may choose from the following examples of topics (or select other relevant topics) for your paper:

  • “Reflecting on Clinical Experiences: Achievements, Challenges, and Future Aspirations”

    Peer Responses:
Length: A minimum of 180 words per post, not including references
Citations: At least two high-level scholarly reference in APA per post from within the last 5 years
    Reflect to other journal reading
I have achieved multiple initial objectives as well as learning aspirations throughout this term. One of my objectives involved enhancing my clinical decision-making skills. I was able to achieve this by actively participating in patient care rounds and making evidence-based decisions. I worked alongside my preceptor, who supervised me to ensure that the care applied was up to standard. At one point, I managed a complex case of a diabetic patient. The case was complex as this patient had multiple comorbidities, calling for the need for an individualized care plan. By working alongside other practitioners and specialists such as dietists, I was able to develop a comprehensive care plan, ensuring that the patient’s blood glucose level was well controlled.
Throughout the course, I was also faced with challenges that hindered my ability to achieve my goals as needed. For instance, I failed to gain hands-on experience with certain procedures due to factors like time constraints. I found that despite expressing my interest in performing more procedures, I had limited opportunities. Nevertheless, I hope to address this challenge in my next rotation by continuously seeking out such experiences early on.
I had a meaningful interaction with a terminally ill patient and his family. As I reflect, I recall that this encounter heavily impacted my interpersonal and emotional connection skills. The family as well as the patient were experiencing great emotional distress. I addressed this by taking my time to listen to them, providing more comfort to the patient as he was in severe pain, and also engaging in empathetic conversations with the family. I learned that compassionate care is of high significance and that providing emotional support can have a positive impact on patients’ overall well-being. As I reflect on this term, I realize that I need more exposure to pediatric cases. I hope to gain more experience in pediatric care in future rotations to improve my clinical skills. The literature emphasizes that reflective practice is crucial for continuous professional development and improving patient care outcomes (King et al., 2021). Through reflection, healthcare professionals can critically analyze their actions. In turn, this leads to better clinical judgment and enhanced learning. As a nursing practitioner, I engage in reflective practices outside classroom requirements, using discussions with my peers. I can state that this practice has significantly improved my ability to learn from experiences, better my approach, and provide more effective patient care. Some barriers associated with reflection can include the issue of time constraints as well as the emotional burden of reliving challenging events (Khoiriyati & Sari, 2022). That said, it is important to address these barriers to enhance one’s personal and professional growth in nursing.
