  • Title: Assessment and Formulation in Mental Health Care: A Critical Discussion and Analysis

    Summative assessment.
This is a two-part assessment incorporating two essays focussing upon assessment and formulation
within mental health care. Having the two essays will ensure students understand they are required
to address both assessment and formulation in equal measure.
Both parts are handed in on the same day, and a pass is required for both components to pass the
    module.
The student will choose a service user on which to base both parts of this assignment. The student
will have opportunities to incorporate critical discussion in their chosen approaches to assessment
and formulation with reference to underpinning research and evidence-based recommendations.
In line with NMC guidance confidentiality must be maintained throughout your assessment.
