In completing this case study, you are expected to draw upon broader knowledge gained in your studies to this point. Including references to other readings to support and contextualise your opinion is required.
Task description
Leadshare is a major Canadian consultancy that wanted to set up an excellent succession planning system. This case study reports on the outcomes.
You will use the case material to gain a better understanding of the management and leadership challenges facing Leadshare and other organisations and write a report of no more than 2,500 words (excluding title page, references, and appendix) that responds to the following questions. Remember to build a strong scholarly argument in your report.
Your report covering “the succession management and leadership challenges facing Leadshare and other organisations” argument will include:
The provided reading concludes that “Appreciative Inquiry provides many contributions to collective and collaborative efforts and maybe most ideal in those settings”. In no more than 200 words per section (about half a page) argue, which one or two of the leadership styles, roles, or types introduced in this unit would help you achieve each of the major themes in the article:
1) The Feeling of Unity,
2) Respected, Responsible, Inspirational Leadership,
3) Justice and Equality, and
4) People Development and Professional Competence. (total 800 words) 
Hint: Justify why you have selected your 1 or 2 leadership styles/roles/types to achieve the 4 major themes as opposed to the other leadership styles/roles/types you could have chosen. You may choose to have one or two leadership styles for all four points or choose a different style per point.
The case study discusses succession planning at Leadshare and proposes 11 “factors of Culture Continuity”. Please choose any five of these factors, and in no more than 300 words each, argue (with references) why you think this factor was “evident” or “not evident” in an enterprise you know deeply (one where you have worked). (total 1500 words)
Reminder: you need to use these two points in your overall argument of “the succession management and leadership challenges facing Leadshare and other organisations”.

items. At the end of each problem-solving case, you will be required to attest that you read the
case which will be worth zero points. Once completed, you will respond in the proper discussion
to the case using the problem-solving framework. Each thread must be 500–750 words.

Review your professor’s feedback from Weeks 5’s Rough Draft before you submit your Final Draft.

It will include a separate Works Cited page with at least six credible sources, have at least 750 words of text, and fully develop your approved topic from previous weeks.

First Page Heading: Your name, your instructor’s name, the course number, and the date (day month year) left aligned

Note: The LDR 201 Week 7 Final Draft Essay should have a Turnitin Similarity Index of less than 20% after your Works Cited page is omitted. If your Turnitin Similarity Index is greater than 20%, you will be required to review and update your essay by paraphrasing the passages and/or properly quoting the source(s). Be sure to avoid lengthy quotations. You may re-submit your paper to Turnitin until your Similarity Index is less than 20%. Failure to have a Similarity Index of 20% or less will have a negative impact on your grade and could result in your name being submitted to the Student Honor Council.  Note, submitting a paper (or parts of a paper) you used in another course is not allowed and is considered plagiarism.  Contact your professor if you have any questions or concerns.  Make sure to review the Student Resources if you need help with Turnitin Submissions.

Assignment:
Write an essay of 1750-2000 words and address each of the required prompts below. Be sure to completely answer all requirements in each prompt. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Make sure to reference five (5) citations using the APA writing style for each reference. Include a cover page and a reference page, which do not count towards the minimal word amount.
Describe your current or future leadership role and explain how you measure up on each of the managerial leadership skills listed in your readings. Provide behavioral examples to support your analysis.
Describe the way in which your organization helps stakeholders develop leadership skills. Be specific and provide examples.
