Extended Scenario from Project Guidelines and Rubric
The organization you work for is expanding and acquiring an international business, increasing the total employee population from 500 to 10,000. Employees are located in multiple states and countries across the world. You are tasked with creating a guidebook that details the importance of social justice, cultural awareness, and communication strategies in the workplace setting. Your guidebook will begin by introducing the concepts of social justice in relation to the workplace setting. Then, it will describe how having an awareness of culture and diversity can positively impact communication and collaboration in the workplace. Finally, it will model how to navigate one of the following conflicts by applying interpersonal communication strategies and restorative practices. Your guidebook will be given to all employees after they receive diversity training.

Your guidebook will begin by introducing the concepts of social justice in relation to the workplace setting. Directions
Based on your chosen scenario, respond to each part of the project, listed below, using the Project Template, which is linked in the What to Submit section. Each scenario will require you to demonstrate your understanding of social justice, the benefits of intercultural collaboration and communication, and interpersonal communication strategies to navigate conflict. You will use the Scenario Profiles, linked in the Supporting Materials section, to support your work on the project. The Scenario Profiles document contains descriptions of the potential conflicts for each scenario.
Specifically, you must address the following:
Part One: Social Justice
In this section, you will provide a general introduction related to social justice to your guidebook. Address the following criteria in Part One.
Explain the difference between justice, fairness, and equality in the scenario.
Describe how bias can influence your perception of social justice in the scenario.
Describe how different narratives in society can impact your perception of social justice.
Describe the core principles of social justice in the scenario.
Part Two: Intercultural Communication and Collaboration
In this section, you will describe the benefits of intercultural communication and collaboration in the scenario. Address the following criteria in Part Two.
Describe how you would demonstrate cultural fluency in the scenario.
Describe how cultural fluency benefits your self-awareness.
Describe how an awareness of other cultures can benefit interpersonal communication with people in the scenario. 
Describe how exposure to diverse backgrounds can positively influence communication in the scenario. 
Explain why an awareness of diversity is beneficial to collaboration in the scenario. 
Part Three: Communication Strategies to Navigate Conflict
In this section, you will apply the concepts you shared in Parts One and Two to describe strategies you will use to navigate the conflict represented in the scenario. Address the following criteria in Part Three.
Describe the components of the conflict represented in the scenario.
Describe different interpersonal communication strategies that can be used in conflict resolution.
Choose an appropriate communication strategy you would employ in the scenario and conflict. Include an explanation of why you chose that communication strategy.
Describe the potential challenges of communication in the scenario and conflict.
Describe the benefits and challenges of using restorative practices to navigate the conflict in the scenario.
What to Submit
To complete this project, you must submit the following:
Submit the completed Project Template as a 3-to-5-page Microsoft Word document. No sources are required. Although Brightspace allows the addition of video notes in assignment submissions, you may not use the Video Note tool to complete this assignment.

Directions
First, consult the Project Guidelines and Rubric to review the scope of the project and the provided scenarios.
Next, choose a scenario. To do this, review the Scenario Profiles document, which provides information related to the scenarios, including the organization profile and related case study. Choose a scenario for this Module Three assignment carefully, because you will use the same scenario for the project.
Then, with your chosen scenario in mind, address the assignment prompts below by completing the corresponding sections in the Project Template.
Note: You can find the Project Guidelines and Rubric and the Scenario Profiles document in the assignment information section of this course.
Specifically, you must address the following:
Sustainable Practices
You will look at the interconnectedness of environmental issues and human behavior as it relates to your chosen scenario. To do this, you will look at both how the environmental systems in use impact the community as well as how the community use impacts the environmental systems in place. You will also look at the group’s overall bias in addressing sustainability in your community.
Describe how environmental systems in use in your chosen scenario impact human behavior.
Consider ecosystems, cultural systems, and organizational systems in your response.
Describe the impact of the current resource use on the environment.
What resources does the group in your scenario use?
What is the impact on the environment?
Describe how human ideology impacts behavior regarding environmental systems.
What policies or vision impact the environmental systems in use within your chosen group?
Think about your chosen group. What behaviors do they practice regarding the environmental systems?
Explain the role of cultural bias in your chosen group’s approach to global sustainability.
What are some of the biases within the group that impact the use of the resources discussed in the scenario?
What to Submit
To complete this assignment, you must submit the following:
Submit your Project Template for grading. Note: You will submit the same Project Template for Module Three Project Draft One, for Module Five Project Draft Two, and for the project.
For this assignment, the Module Three Project Draft One, you will complete only Part One of the Project Template.
You do not need to complete Part Two and Part Three of the template for this assignment.
No sources are required. However, if you choose to use sources, they should be cited according to APA style.
