Understanding how stakeholders advocate for or against policies is also important. This assignment requires students to select from the listed policies and write a brief that provides an overview of these essential topics. Background Information
Service-learning activities are a rich learning tool in higher education.
According to Dr. Stephanie Delaney (2015), students who participate in some form of community service tied to their coursework get more out of the material. They are also more likely to complete their degrees.
Instructions
Review the appropriate rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.
Consider your previous experience with service-learning.
Prepare to discuss the following prompts:
In light of what you have learned at IWU, has your attitude regarding your responsibility to care for the poor and at-risk changed? What changes will you be making in your nursing care because of what you learned at IWU?
Explain the term social justice by researching the subject. Your text will provide a good starting point. Cite and reference at least one professional source.
Write at least one SMART goal in reference to something you would like to change in the at-risk population you visited in your Service Learning activity(Word document).
State One NANDA Community Nursing Diagnosis(new tab) to go with your SMART goal, this should be an actual diagnosis, it should be written in the proper format as noted in the attachment having four distinct parts.
The approved NANDA Community Nursing Diagnoses are:
Ineffective Community Coping
Readiness for Community Coping
Deficient Community Health (best for any health concerns,       e.g., if your at-risk population is low-income COPD residents in Wheeling, WV this would fit them nicely)
Write one outcome objective and three interventions you would use to meet your goal. As noted in the file SMART Goals, Objectives, Interventions, Stakeholders, and Nursing Diagnoses(Word document). 
Must cite and reference a minimum of one scholarly source.
Write an initial response to the discussion prompts and post it to the discussion forum by the end of the fourth day. Your initial post should include four paragraphs and two sources correctly cited and referenced, to support your information.

In a 4- to 5-page project proposal written to the leadership of your healthcare organization, propose a nursing informatics project for your organization that you advocate to improve patient outcomes or patient-care efficiency. Your project proposal should include the following:

Explain the patient outcome(s) or patient-care efficiencies this project is aimed at improving and explain how this improvement would occur. Be specific and provide examples.

Marketing, Donations, and procurement: In this assignment you need to write a
marketing plan/strategy to encourage organ and/or blood and/or blood product
donation in the country of your choice. 
You can also include sections such as: Identify the various types of
organ and/or blood donation offered in the country; Provide a descriptive
analysis utilizing the concepts of Marketing Mix (the 4 P’s) and SWOT analysis;
Issues and challenges pertaining to donation of these products (like ‘shelf
life’ for the products, etc.) rules and regulations related to organ donation
and procurement; historical data; cost issues; uses of donated organs, etc.; policies
and procedures for volunteering for blood donation; Strategies to increase
donation and procurement; Logistics and transportation – including issues like
long does one have to transplant an organ before it is useless (i.e.,
wastage/distribution/etc.); ethical issues; etc.
Must Cite in text and have references sheet. APA format
Use of headings/subheadings is strongly encouraged.

graphs, and figures enhances the quality of the paper.
