Remember that the life cycle matrix is only used to assess an organization and/or its divisions rather than products or services (although it can be used for a marketing group to look at product life cycles).  The paper should be well-written and meet the following requirements:
Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages) and conform to APA guidelines in the CSU Global Writing Center. Include at least three current (within the past 5 years) credible references, trade publications, or business articles to support your analysis. The CSU Global Library is a good place to find these resources. You can quickly access the Writing Center and Library by clicking on the links in the course navigation panel.
You will also need to create a visual item that emulates either Figure 15.5, 15.6, or 15.7 in the textbook.  This will be placed in an appendix and used as a visual aid to supplement your narrative paper.  To create the visual image, you can use the Charts function in Word or any other image creation program that will allow you to insert your finished image into a Word document.

In order to fulfill this assignment, you will complete the following: 
Write a 6 page essay that tells the story of your major and career exploration so far. Your writing project should cover two main areas:   
Part 1: Major/Career Exploration: Using specific examples from pre-college (such as during your childhood, your high school experience, and so on), this class, and other classes/experiences in college so far, reflect on what you have done to engage in each of the various stages of the major and career exploration process (discover, inquire, decide) and the pros and cons of the majors/careers you have considered.
Part 2: Moving Forward: Be specific about where you are now: what decisions do you still need to make, concerning your major or career? What information do you need to make a confident choice? What is your plan of action moving forward? What resources do you plan to use? How would you like to get more involved/continue to be involved at UNLV? What are some of your goals for the next (fall) semester? Wrap up with final reflections on what you anticipate in the next chapter of your major/career story.
Revise and proofread your essay to ensure you demonstrate thoughtful reflection and analysis, include specific and detailed examples, and have a purposeful logical order.
NOTE: Your essay should cover the story of your major/career exploration so far; while assignments we completed in COLA certainly fall under the “Inquire” section of the essay, this paper is not a re-cap of the COLA 100E course. 

Research the current policy/practice pertaining to an issue of Health Care Ethics.
Assess the ethicality of the current practice and make a recommendation as to
whether it should change.
Your paper should have two main parts:
1. Choose an issue pertaining to Health Care Ethics and research the current practice in the U.S. in relation to that issue. The topic you choose for your paper may or may not be related to one of the issues we are discussing over the course of the semester, but it should be clearly related to an issue of health care. In the first part of your paper, you should lay out the various aspects of this issue. For example, if the issue is one about a certain procedure (such as abortion, euthanasia, etc.)
then you would need here to discuss things like the availability of the procedure, who makes decisions about when the procedure happens costs associated with the procedure, etc. If instead decide to write about something like health insurance, 
you would need to here address similar questions (i.e. the availability of 
insurance, how this relates to receiving 
health care, who makes decisions and on what basis, etc.)
2. Assess the ethicality of the current practice. In this part of your paper, you 
should elaborate the values involved in the issue you have chosen (e.g. autonomy, utility, etc.) and explain how these values come into tension with one another. Ultimately, you should argue that the current practice is either ethical or unethical in light of these considerations. Take a position, one way or the other: this will function as the thesis of
your paper. 
Cite your sources using whatever style guide you are most familiar with (MLA, APA, or
Chicago), and provide a Works Cited page

Remember, your faculty member must confirm your two compliance violation areas before you begin your research and writing. Most of you should be able to write about your preferred plan areas, but in some cases, to ensure that all areas are covered by class members, you may receive a different plan to write about. As soon as your selections are approved, begin your research on the Internet and at your college’s online library, which you can access through the Resources tab.

Instructions
Complete the Vila Health: HIM Technology Support Plan simulation before beginning work on the assignment. You will use the information from this exercise, as well as information from the readings and your own research to complete your assignment. In addition, note the requirements below for document format and length and for citing supporting evidence.
Use the template linked in Resources to write an executive summary that outlines a comprehensive plan for go-live and ongoing support for a major upgrade of a hospital’s EHR and other HIM systems.

Instructions
Construct a 3-page essay. You will continue to focus on social viewpoints and long-term social and medical implications.  
This is a continuation of Assignment One.
In one page, explain how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted society from a sociological perspective. Consider discussing the consequences of economic disparities, health disparities, and the role of government and institutions in managing the crisis. Be sure to include and apply at least one social concept and one social theory learned from the course.
In two pages, discuss at least three long-term societal and three medical implications of the COVID-19 pandemic. Consider the potential effects on healthcare infrastructure, public trust in health authorities, mental health consequences, and the potential for long-lasting changes in social norms and behaviors.
Because this is a continuation of Assignment One, end with a conclusion or summary of the entire essay. 
Include at least three peer-reviewed journal articles no more than five years old (do not select one of the journal articles from the course) to support your explanation of how the sociological viewpoint applied to this health issue. Do not use the same journal articles you used for Part One.
