  • Title: “Italy’s Ambitions in Africa: Exploring the Motivations, Consequences, and Unique Characteristics of Italian Colonialism in the Late 19th Century”

    this is the thesis: The Italian colonial empire of the late 19th century, driven by nationalistic ambitions and access to uncolonized regions, significantly impacted Africa. This paper explores Italy’s expansion into territories such as Libya, Eritrea, Somalia, and Ethiopia, examining the motivations, consequences, and unique characteristics of Italian colonialism during this period.

  • Title: Understanding the Wealth Gap in the United States: A Review of Literature

    Audience: Your audience would be other researchers.
    You will have to decide what your audience already knows about your topic and what your audience still needs to know.
    You will need evidence from all 6 of your articles. Some of your evidence will be quoted word-for-word from the article and some will be paraphrased—restated in your own words.
    Outline for your essay: 
    1. Introduction paragraphs section: Introduction section must provide the following information:
    Background information into the topic you are researching
    Your research question that you are investigating
    What you hoped to learn from your research
    A few of the themes or ideas that you found running through your 6 articles
    2. Review of the Literature paragraphs section: Your review paragraphs must provide the following information:
    The author, article title, and author’s main ideas. This will be presented in complete sentences.
    Evidence from the articles to show the readers what the authors think (this should be evidence that you quote word-for-word from the article.)
    If 2 or more authors agree on ideas, you can combine them into one paragraph.
    You must not discuss the authors ideas here—only present them. This section is only for what the authors think. 
    3. Discussion paragraphs section: Your discussion paragraphs section must include the following information:
    How and why you agree or disagree with the authors
    How well the authors supported their main ideas
    What the authors could have done better to explain their ideas
    To what extent you trust the authors and why
    4. Conclusion paragraphs section: Your conclusion paragraphs section must include the following information:
    What you learned from your research
    What you still would like to learn
    Your answer to the research question 
    Research question is. What causes the wealth gap between different economic classes in the United States and what measures have helped to start to close this gap or have addressed the issue. You can change this research question up a bit if you want to just keep the topic on the wealth gap. Please keep in mind this is for my ENGLISH 101 not to advanced so i want you to write this as a first year college student for the writing level. Thank you! 

  • Title: Navigating Cultural Adaptation and Preservation: An Ethnographic Study of Immigrant Families in New Haven, Connecticut

    For my hypothetical ethnographic project, I would like to
    focus on a research community of immigrant’s families living in a diverse
    neighborhood in the United States of Connecticut called, New Haven. The main
    theme I would like to explore with this group is the process of cultural
    adaptation and preservation within the context of globalization within the
    context of globalization and rapid social change. I am interested in understanding
    how these families navigate the challenges of maintaining their cultural traditions
    while also integrating into a larger society. I envision the participants in
    this project playing an active role in co creating the narrative of their
    experiences through interviews, participant observation, and collaborative
    storytelling. I believe that by giving voice to the lived experiences of these
    families, we can gain a deeper understanding of the strengths, challenges, and
    hopes that shape their daily lives.
    Please read both
    attached documents as they explain in full detail what is expected for this
    assignment. There is part 1 and part 2 for this assignment. both parts can be
    combined. part 1 and part 2 is expected to be 2-3 pages each. This assignment
    is to be written as a (Written reflection)

  • Title: “Empowerment through Education: Crafting a Syllabus for a High School Introduction to Women’s Studies Course”

    You have been invited to teach a semester-long introduction to women’s studies course to high school students. Walk us through the planning of the syllabus for this course.
    Drawing on the wide range of materials from the course and elsewhere in your research:
    provide a rationale for your course.
    To do so, first identify two central questions of your course and two key ideas that you see as the most relevant/important for this age group. The rationale section must be must be between 2-3 pages double spaced. Please explain and elaborate the significance of your course, your course objectives, overall expectations, and your course structure. You may, if you choose, come up with examples of assignments or activities for your class. 
    Draft an annotated bibliography, with at least 6 sources: 3 from class and 3 outside of class, identifying which of these materials you will assign the high schoolers themselves and which you may not assign but will be important in your preparation for teaching them.
    Be sure to demonstrate how these materials speak to each other and why these key ideas might matter to this age group. Your annotations must be at least 3-4 sentences.
    You may, if you wish, include in your planning some of the assignments that you would give but keep in mind that this assignment is most invested in reading your comprehensive rationale for the selections/decisions you have made.
    You speculative syllabus must be at least 5-8 pages double spaced. 
    As always, include a cover page, and a works cited page. If you come across other syllabi and use them as examples to set your syllabus up, please include those in your works cited page.
