Write a short (3-page) report explaining your process, why you did what you did, and the result. Include equations referenced in your text. You should provide your complete work as an appendix (either neatly hand-written or typed). Provide the part number, cost, and actual temperature that you would send the
ethylene glycol back to the machine. Pretend you are handing this report to your boss to justify your decision.

“Pursuing a Future in Engineering: The Journey of Amir Luster”
This assignment is an essay about
Amir Luster, son to single mom whom dedicated life to being in the army and moving around finally settling in California to take advantage of the many opportunities. This essay is about why he wants to go to college and become in Engineer. The world seems to be headed towards the robotic industry and he would like to be a part of that. With the knowledge and experience gained from college he could repair, sustain and possibly invent robotic to help with with future innovations. He was selected amongst thousands of students to gain Rancho Campana high academy of engineering, which afforded the opportunity to learn Fusion 360 a computer aided drafting program by 3D printing. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, 3D design, engineering design, and civil engineering. Selected amongst hundreds of students for 3 internships which he successfully completed. Amir would be honored to continue his education with college XYD because college XYZ has an amazing engineering program. -
“Evaluating the Grading Criteria for a Strong Research Paper”
The following are the grading criteria for the research paper:
1-Introduction/Thesis: The introduction should grab the reader’s interest and clearly state the topic. The thesis must be clear, arguable, well-developed, and a definitive statement.
2-Quality of Information/Evidence: The paper should be well-researched, detailed, and historically accurate. Information must clearly relate to the thesis and come from a variety of sources.
3-Support of Thesis/Analysis: The paper should make critical, relevant, and consistent connections between the evidence and the thesis. The analysis must be thorough and insightful.
4-Organization/Development of Thesis: The paper should have a clear, logical, and mature development of the thesis with excellent transitions between and within paragraphs.
5-Conclusion: The conclusion should effectively summarize the topic with concluding ideas that impact the reader, without introducing new information.
6-Style/Voice: The style and voice should be appropriate to the given audience and purpose, showing originality and creativity. Word choice should be specific, purposeful, dynamic, and varied.
7-Grammar/Usage/Mechanics: The paper should demonstrate control of grammar, usage, and mechanics, being almost entirely free of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. -
Feasibility Study for Wind Power Generation in the Midwest Region of the United States: A Comparison of Small and Large-Scale Systems
Select a region of the world you are interested in and a size of wind power generation system (small- capable of powering a small farm, large- capable of powering a city or a region) that you are interested in. Conduct a feasibility study of constructing and operating wind turbines in that region.
Your study must include:
Energy needs of that region, present and projected (5 points)
Energy sources currently in use in that region, and cost in cents/KW-hr (5 points)
Wind resources available in that region, including capacity factors (5 points)
Economic analysis, assuming a 10% financial discount rate, of the wind turbine system(s) (3 points)
Public policy issues important to that region (zoning, renewable portfolio standards, energy credit,..) (2 points)
The report will be approximately 10 to 15 pages (single
spaced) including cover sheet, table of contents, bibliography, figures, and appendices (if any). -
Title: “Firefighter Drone: Revolutionizing Firefighting and Prevention” Design Description: The Firefighter Drone is a cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to combat and prevent fires. It is equipped with advanced technology and features
Create a design of a drone that fights fire. I know these exist already, but this drone should have specific features or modifications that enhance efficiency. Be specific and have several features. Make this drone highly sustainable with several key features and abilities that make it much better than existing drones. It has to have realistic features but they can be a little unrealistic, this is a prototype for how future drones could be constructed.
This drone should “prevent risks that cause fires”, “mitigate during a fire”, or “rebuild after a fire has occurred”. The drone should be able to do at least two of these three things, but its even better if it does all three.
I’ve attached screenshots of an example of a design for a drone that aids in volcanic eruptions. Use this as reference or as an idea and create your own. -

Title: A Comprehensive Study on Bridge Failure Modes and Effect Analysis for Enhancing Bridge Engineering and Maintenance Practices
Write up to cover; Abstract, Introduction, Literature review and Methodology as outlined below;
Abstract:
Bridge failures can have catastrophic consequences, leading to loss of life, property damage, and disruption of transportation systems. Understanding the failure modes and their effects is crucial for designing safe and resilient bridge structures. This thesis presents a comprehensive study on bridge failure modes and effect analysis, aiming to enhance the knowledge and practices in bridge engineering and maintenance.
