  • “Clarifying and Structuring the Conceptual Framework: A Focus on Yanow’s Framework for Meaning in School Garden Research”

I have written the whole document.  I need Chapter 3: The Conceptual Framework to be re-written with particular attention to having a clear and structured conceptual framework.  I have received several comments throughout that say that it is unclear.  What I need to demonstrate is that:
    1) Hammel’s (2004) framework has been used in community garden research (Lucke et al. 2019; Connelly et al., 2012) – this is not my research, my research is on school gardens.  I have not chosen to ask the research questions or thematic analysis using Hammel because I wanted to have an inductive approach to research using Yanow’s framework of meaning through acts, language, and objects. I also wanted to have an inductive approach to research using Yanow (2006) as research on what meaning teachers attribute to school gardens has not been conducted before.  The reviewers continue to state that it all appears confused – so the re-write needs to be very clear and well sequenced.
    2) make sure Yanow’s framework and its use in my research is much clearer and well structured
    3) I need a section that demonstrates some research on using Yanow’s framework for meaning (acts, language, and objects) in other areas (eg. education, welfare, social studies) and how and why asking teachers perspectives using Yanow’s framework is important.
    3) Hammel is used in the discussion (but not the methodology or results), although I have been told that whilst the results are not organised using Hammel that I should mention him in a conclusing sentence for each paragraph.

  • Title: “Understanding Special Education Teachers’ Perspectives on Challenging Behaviors in Students with ADHD: A Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis”

I need 5 references with 3 being research studies using qualitative and quantitative research. The references need to be in APA format. The 3 research studies should include What Special education teachers say the common challenging behaviors shown by students with ADHD, identify effective strategies and techniques used by special education teachers to manage the challenging behavior, if special education teachers feel the need for continuous professional development and support regarding ADHD. This should be focused more on special education teachers.
I will need an introduction, Hypothesis, Material and Methodology, Data collection and analysis, Results- which should include at least 3 graphs related to What special education teachers say the common challenging behaviors shown by students with ADHD are , identify effective strategies and techniques used by special education teachers to manage the challenging behavior, if special education teachers feel the need for continuous professional development and support regarding ADHD, research findings, conclusion and reference section. I will also need what the 3 research studies were used in this project written in the methodology section along with information on the study and also cite it in the reference section. I will need the information on the file below.

  • Title: Analyzing Strategies for Improving Strengths and Addressing Weaknesses

You need to add supporting details as to why these strategies would be helpful as well as why the areas of strengths are considered strengths and the same for why weaknesses are considered weaknesses.

  • “Enhancing Math Instruction: Differentiating for All Learners in an Inclusion Classroom”

This week you are a first grade inclusion or ICT special education teacher planning for math! Often teachers are given packaged curriculum like the two samples in the module – Go Math and EnVision – and are asked to teach concepts through this curriculum. However, often the packaged curriculum and resources fall short of meeting all children’s needs. Here is the scenario: you are using one of these packaged programs to teach either adding with pictures (Go Math) or adding doubles (EnVision) and while the materials are strong, you see that a number of students aren’t quite getting the concept while others catch on quickly. Because so much of math is sequential, you can’t move onto the next concept until you know all children are grounded in this knowledge and you want to ensure you are supporting the students who need additional help. Choose one of these packaged materials. The class is an ICT class of 25-32 children. Create a supplementary lessons. You may choose to split the class in levels with those needing extra help addressed in one lesson or you may choose a full class lesson with differentiated guided practice and independent/small group practice that help all students get to where they need to be. Consider what we know about differentiation and what we know about mathematical thinking and include what you’ve read about math in the previous module. You may use some materials laid out in the packaged curriculum but there should be pedagogy and methods of learning what children know and can do other than the material/worksheets provided. Have fun with it – math is often best taught with games!

  • “Exploring the Montessori Classroom: A Reflection on Planning, Instruction, Student Engagement, and Assessment” “Montessori Methods for Hands-On Learning and Development” “Exploring Literacy and Learning: The Power of Reading Aloud and Montessori Lesson Planning”

3-4 page paper on field experience with examples on planning, instruction, student engagement and assessment. You can include student comments, books you read or listened to, student questions, or observations.
This is some information I can give you of my experince for the paper
My First-day arrival at my internship, I joined circle time, and we did a meet and greet introductions with the students. I Observed during morning work time, observed during transitions, observed during extended day work period, and participated in the classroom circle time reading a book then having a discussion as a whole class about the book.
I Observed during morning work time, observed during transitions, attended an yoga class with the students, observed during extended day work period and participated in the classroom circle time talking about colors.
I observed during a lesson on language this helped enrich the children’s vocabulary and participation for the language work.
Today during circle time, I read the children a book called “In My Heart.” A lot of the children had a lot of emotions today so I thought it was a great idea to read the book to show what we can do when we feel those emotions in our heart.
A lesson on Cloth Washing was conducted, demonstrating the child’s interest in water-intensive tasks with longer work cycles. The child observed and followed the steps, gaining concentration and memorization to complete the tasks independently. They also showed improvements in hand strength and eye coordination, particularly when working with sponges or cloths and dumping water into buckets.
Today, a special guest visited the children for circle time, reading books about becoming big brothers and sisters. Many students related to the book as they have recently or are about to become big brothers/sisters in their families. The school loves hosting parents to discuss special topics at home, creating a sense of community and supporting children through changes and potential impacts.
Today, children participated in a group lesson on how to rip toilet paper. They were instructed to pinch the paper’s edge with both hands, holding it steady with one hand and pulling it down with the other. This was crucial for mastering toilet learning and ensuring proper wiping, as it helps children learn to properly wipe themselves.
I focused on a new child’s curiosity in classroom art shelves while introducing them to watercolor painting today. I assisted the child in developing their abilities by encouraging their imagination and giving them a range of creative supplies. In order to support the child’s development of their imagination and ability to follow routines, I also emphasized the significance of adhering to the Montessori work cycle, which involves independent like getting water.
In an effort to help the student feel at home, the teacher read aloud during circle time today while talking about the various cultural backgrounds and family histories. A child brought her best book, “The Proudest Blue,” which tells the story of the Hijab family.
Today during circle time, I read Amanda Gorman’s “Change Sings,” a children’s anthem that fosters leadership and encourages children to express their desires and passion for community changes, both small and large.
Today I learned by the guide that in a Montessori classroom, art picture frames not only display artwork but also promote independence, creativity, and appreciation for art. They are strategically placed at the child’s eye level to encourage children to notice small changes and point out different things. This helps children recognize different things and encourages them to appreciate art in a more engaging and interactive way.
Today a child learned about dishwashing, a practical life activity that helps children develop concentration, order, sequencing, control over movements, independence, and care for their surroundings. They began by washing a bowl and knife after slicing and eating a whole banana, and later wanted to wash more dishes. This activity is essential for children’s development.
Today, we conducted numerous lessons with a new child and taught him about various tools and activities using our gentle hands due to him being aggressive. This activity stimulates all senses and encourages engagement with the environment with his hands instead of using them on his peers.
Today I observed a lesson on slicing a banana. The child was very observant and then tried on his own. One of the Montessori key elements to help children follow through the work cycle is slow movements of the guides hands while presenting the works. That provides the child with the knowledge of what the child is expected to do while memorizing the routines/steps.
Today I participated in music class. Music and movement play an important role in children as it seamlessly integrates into various learning activities. For example, children might use scarves and body movements to learn color while having fun. This links movement with cognitive understanding.
Today I gave a lesson to a child on circle puzzles. The main focus on the lesson with this child was the sensorial part by tracing and feeling the edges of each piece before putting it together to form the shape of a circle.
I observed the teacher give the children a lesson on plants, the kinds of plants that are used in the classroom, how to feed the plants eggshells, the advantages of doing so, and the reasons why the plants require the eggshells
During the read-aloud of “Hands are not for hitting,” I saw. Today, a child was struggling to focus on their task and keep their hands to themselves. After talking with me, the teacher decided that reading the book aloud to the kids during circle time would be a fantastic way to spark conversation and remind them of what to do with their hands.
I gave a lesson to a child on how to squeeze a lemon and make lemonade “Practical Life in Montessori” by squeezing the lemon it helps children to develop strong muscles in their hands and fingers and develop fine motor skills.
I gave a lesson to a child on how to peel an orange for “Practical Life in Montessori” by removing and discarding fruit peels and wedges from a clementine, the child’s rational mind is trained, and they can enjoy the fruit in its literal form. while also permitting it to support children’s fine motor skill development.
Today I observed circle time with a new student. The teacher sang her good morning song to the Children “Good morning children, Good morning children it’s time to say good morning!” She then introduced the new student “today we have our new student (Childs name) and he is getting to know all of you. I know you heard him crying and asking for mom and dad and that’s okay to be sad and want mom and dad because it’s his first day. Now let’s introduce ourselves to (new child’s name) let’s all wave and say hello petter *another song* “Hello peter hello (new child’s name) how are you today my name is (child’s name).”
Today I observed the teacher give a lesson to the children on kitchen tools. Using a lime squeezer, wooden cutting board, muffin mold, ice cream scooper. Through kitchen lesson/activities, the Montessori approach helps children develop independence and practical life skills while improving their motor skills, self-assurance, and ability to perform basic daily tasks.
We have noticed that A child is interested in sponge-based work. Today I observed the lead guide give a lesson on polishing wood. The child squeezed the wood polish into a bowl, ensuring it was well-polished. Involving children in practical life activities, such as environmental care, boosts self-confidence and fine motor skills.
Today I observed the lead guide give a lesson on winter animals. During this lesson language is developed gradually. This lesson is given to help to help the children associate vocabulary with a real object or replica.
Today the local Librarian came to the school today to read books and sing songs. Exposing the children to literacy and reading aloud to children enhanced their vocabulary, comprehension, and language skills. It also introduces them to different styles of storytelling.
I did extended day some days and we would learn about numbers, colors, shapes etc.
In montessori school lesson planning are conducted differntly through transparent classrooms and its based on each childs paste and needs and what work they have gotten a lesson on and what they have conquired etc.
