Step 1: Using the information from Cronometer and Table 1, answer the following questions in paragraph form. There is no need to rewrite the questions.
Please write in complete sentences and answer the questions in paragraph form. Points will be deducted for poor grammar and spelling errors.
Add your citations to your Reference page in APA format, 7th edition for student papers. Make sure your in-text citations are also in APA format, 7th edition for student papers.
Save the Rough Draft of your Written Report as a “Microsoft Word” or pdf file and unload into Turnitin.
Question 1a.
Is your caloric intake appropriate for you? Discuss how your actual caloric intake compares to your recommended intake. How does your current caloric intake affect your body weight, your energy level, and your overall health. What is your body mass index and how do you interpret this ratio for yourself?
Question 1b.
Using the information from Table 1, identify the nutrients you consumed that were 300% of the DRI/RDA)? To answer this, go to PubMed.gov and find one study for each nutrient that discusses the consequences of a deficiency. You should have a minimum of two citations here. Add all your citations to the end of your paper in APA format, 7th edition for student papers.
If your diet is adequate in every way and there is no room for improvement, then the two nutrients you will use to answer this question are vitamin D and Potassium.
Question 2.
Based on your responses to the previous questions, identify three dietary changes that you could make to improve your health. (NOTE: exercise, which is beneficial to your health, is NOT a dietary change!). Describe how you would accomplish these changes in terms of specific foods you would include or eliminate from your diet. Discuss why these changes may benefit your health or help prevent disease. For example, a diet low in iron might cause anemia, which leads to weakness and fatigue. Therefore, consuming foods high in iron such as lean red meat might be a good way to get more iron in your diet. Vegetarians or people who eat meat occasionally can improve their iron status by eating non-meat iron foods with citrus juice to improve iron absorption. (Minimum 300 words for question 2).
Submit your revised final draft of the Nutrition Project: Nutrient Analysis and the Written Report.
Make sure you revise your assignment to include the performance feedback from all parts of this assignment (Parts A, B, C and D-Rough Draft) by your Instructor.

Title: “Resolving Conflict in a Private School: A HRM Analysis” Title: Understanding Theories, Ideas, and Concepts: An Analytical Approach
Case Study Essay – ANALYSIS
Assignment Guidelines
During assignment 1, you wrote a case (a problem that you shared) in the final part. Now, you are required to analyze that case from the perspective of HRM. ( find the interview analysis in the folder)
Analyzing a Case
Try to determine the who, what, where, and when of the situation or event. Often the most difficult questions to answer are why the problem arose and what can be done about it. Caution is necessary at this juncture. There is a temptation to immediately ‘blame’ actors who appear on the surface to be acting differently or unusually. This tendency to jump to conclusions and blame the ‘most likely’ individuals might cause you to overlook important organizational, cultural, ethical, technological, or human resource variables that may have had a crucial impact on what has happened. Often what seems to be apparent may not be ‘real’. Also, don’t forget that people’s perceptions, whether ‘real’ or not, may determine the actual outcomes.
Once you have provided a detailed description of what has happened, it is then easier to answer
the second question: “Why did it happen?” Again, be careful not to jump to premature conclusions
and be sure to take into account a number of variables that may have had an impact on the
situation – e.g., personality characteristics; cultural and socio-economic background of actors;
organizational position of actors; educational levels; changing environment/ context; existing human resource framework; technology; and group pressures. Guard against the temptation to select the easiest option.
Another question you need to consider is: “What was done to overcome the problem and was it
effective?” Here you have to consider the relevancy, practicality, feasibility, as well as the effects of
the chosen solution. A final question could be: If the solution did not solve the problem, what could
have been done differently? Here you should use your experience and concepts and theories
derived from the literature, as well as those discussed in the course, to suggest more effective ways
for solving the case problem.
You may also frustrated because your case does not provide ‘adequate’ information or
‘facts’ to enable you to make an ‘informed’ decision. Again this often reflects real-life situations,
where important facts are unknown. Of course, case studies have their limitations in that it is
difficult to provide ‘all the facts’ and still keep them reasonably short to facilitate reading.
To get the most out of a case, make notes using the questions posed earlier. Then try to explain what happened and why it happened using HRM readings, and relevant literature and theories. Analyze why things went wrong and suggest how they could be corrected.
Suggested Format for a Case Study
1. The problem (choose any problem according to interview analysis, make up some interesting problem that aligns with the context and that can reveal all the necessary topics mentioned in the assignment rubric)
2. Actors involved and their characteristics
3. The context in which the problem occurred (type of educational institution, its size, location, effectiveness, etc.) – a private school in Azerbaijan, the conflict between teachers and administration
4. What happened – you are free to choose any according to the interview context
5. Why it happened
6. Issues and dilemmas faced
7. Alternatives outlined and their feasibility discussed
8. How the problem was resolved
9. The effectiveness of the solution
10. What should (could) have been done differently
Word length: 1,300-1,600 words
Please follow the suggestions provided below while preparing the final Case Study Essay:
1. Use a word processor, if possible, with double spacing.
2. Write your thoughts and ideas using a clear, logical, and concise style.
3. Proofread your final essay carefully.
4. A bibliography should be given at the end of the essay.
5. Be careful of uncritical acceptance of popular or plausible ideas. Always critically analyze theories, ideas, and concepts.
6. All ideas or quotations taken from other authors must be acknowledged in the text of
your essay. -

“Supporting Student Learning: Strategies and Theories for Beginning Teachers”
Students learn in a variety of ways. It is important for teachers to be aware of the various learning theories and models mentioned in the text and topic materials related to the history of how students learn. This knowledge will provide a foundation to create learning experiences that promote student development and acquisition of knowledge.
Using a free tool, such as Canva or Genially, create a digital tri-fold brochure to be used as a resource for beginning teachers. Provide information about how learning occurs and strategies that support a variety of learning modalities by including the following:
A detailed description of how students learn in various modalities (in-person, virtual, and hybrid), including principles and theories related to the development and acquisition of knowledge.
Provide 3-4 strategies to teach collaboration in the classroom environment, including at least one technology tool that would support collaboration and expand students’ authentic, real-world experiences by helping them engage virtually with others locally and globally.
Provide 3-4 strategies for encouraging students to monitor their work and engage in self-reflection in a way that also promotes motivation.
A description of different teaching styles, how they are demonstrated, and the type of classroom environments they create.
A description of how your teaching practices will support various learning preferences of students based on researched learning theories.
Explain 3-4 ways a teacher can ensure all students are learning when there are diverse needs in the classroom.
Support your brochure with a minimum of 2-3 scholarly resources.
While APA Style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
You are required to submit this assignment to LopesWrite. A link to the LopesWrite technical support articles is located in Class Resources if you need assistance.
