  • Title: Mindful Reflection on Communication and Relationships

Review the Week 8 Quiz Section Slides posted to the Week 8 Lesson Module homepage.
Please engage in the following Mindfulness Exercise and reflect on your experience.
This mindfulness exercise is an “observe” activity. Grab something you can eat and set a timer for 2 minutes. Engage in “mindful eating” by eating the food you selected for 2 minds, using all 5 senses to observe your piece food. Use your “how” skills to notice any judgments or distractions that may come into your mind and let them go to bring yourself back to your practice non-judgmentally, one-mindfully, and effectively.  After your practice, write a half page reflection debriefing your practice by responding to the following prompts:
Which of the “how” skills was most challenging? Which came more naturally? Why?
What thoughts, emotions, or physical sensations did you observe as you were engaging in this activity? How did you use your “how” skills to bring your focus back to your practice of observing your mindful eating?
How did this “mindful eating” practice differ from the way you might typically eat? What did you notice about your food while you were being one-mindfully focused on observing it through all 5 senses?
    3. Review slide 6 titled “Four Corners, Four Horsemen” and follow the prompts to visit the Google documentLinks to an external site. created by your peers. Review the examples of the 4 Horsemen and their antidotes that your peers brainstormed during quiz section. For each of the 4 Horsemen (criticism, defensiveness, contempt, and stonewalling), describe a situation in which you used the negative communication style (4 situations total). Include direct quotes of what you might have said that reflected criticism, defensiveness, contempt, and stonewalling. For each example situation, rewrite the dialogue using the corresponding positive “antidote” to the horseman used in that situation. Include direct quotes. This section should be at least a page.
    4. Review Slide 7 also titled “”Four Corners, Four Horsemen.” Write a half page reflection addressing the following prompts on the slide (and listed below):
How do these 4 horsemen show up across your different relationships? What factors make you vulnerable to using them more often?
What 215/216 skills did you use to stop your horsemen? How did the skills help make your communication more effective?
How could using these skills support you in improving or strengthening your relationships?
Please submit your 2 page reflection by Monday at 11 PM. Please remember that your homework post is also due on Canvas at that time. Partial credit is not available for make-up assignments.

  • Title: Narrowing Your Research Topic Narrowed Topic: The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health Primary Research Question: How does social media usage affect the mental health of young adults aged 18-25? Supporting Research Questions:

Revisit the broad topic that you selected last week and narrow your topic to a manageable focus. Use the Narrowed Topic and Research Question Worksheet to create a primary research question and at least three supporting research questions.

  • “Exploring the Intersection of Fiction and Reality: A Comprehensive Thesis”

Hi, You already wrote the literature review for me.  I just need all the other parts of thesis including cover page, table of contents, etc…  This is part fiction and part real.  Parts can be made up and or altered to fit what you have to write.  Just the results/conclusion have to llead to those findings by me.

  • Exploring the Impact of Self-Efficacy on Novice Teachers’ Professional Duties: A Methodological Approach Using Interviews, Focus Groups, Observations, and Questionnaires

write an introduction to the methodology section. Define Novice teachers as well as self efficacy. The presearh question is  “In novice teachers, how does self-efficacy impact their ability to fulfill their professional duties?”   I will use interviews, hold focus groups, observations, and questionaireses to collet qualitatve data.
Below is an example of what it might look like”
The purpose of this action research study was to explore how peer-led virtual
environments could help doctoral students could help doctoral students of NNEU’s online
program to increase dissertation writing productivity and overcome writing blocks. A goal of this
study was to develop a pilot peer-led dissertation writing support group that would provide
resources and guidance towards increasing writing. I used questionnaires, semi-structured
interviews, and observation field notes as the tools to collect data during three cycles of research
to contextualize the problem and gather recommendations from study participants to devise the
intervention, which was a pilot peer-led dissertation writing support group.

  • The Importance of Valid and Ethical Research: Pursuing Truth in a World of Agendas In today’s society, research plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of the world and making informed decisions. However, the pursuit of truth through research

Research should always be about finding out the truth and disseminating that information. However, many findings are taken out of context, and data is used to further an agenda.  Truth matters.  Why is it so important to conduct research that is both valid and ethical, and how can this be accomplished? Support your discussion with scholarly sources and integrate a biblical worldview perspective.
Please review the Discussion Assignment Instructions Download Discussion Assignment Instructionsprior to posting.  You may also click the three dots in the upper corner to Show Rubric.
Post-First: This course utilizes the Post-First feature in all Discussions. This means you will only be able to read and interact with your classmates’ threads after you have submitted your thread in response to the provided prompt.
