Write a piece that is to be read aloud regarding the significance of African Americans following in their families footsteps by choosing careers in law enforcement. Many officers become cops following the legacy of their parents, or uncles/aunts, etc. Speak to how the importance of carrying on the legacy is important. Tie in a historical context relating to African American history in law enforcement and keeping an African American footprint in law enforcement.

Title: Perspectives on the Controversy Surrounding Artificial Intelligence
For your initial post, complete each of these steps.
Select two of your sources that have different perspectives on a controversial aspect of the technology you selected for your course project.
Discuss one source’s the perspective on that controversy. Include one brief quotation illustrating that perspective. Put any copied words from the source in “quotation marks.” Cite quotes and any source information that you paraphrase or summarize. Most of the writing should be your own words, not quotations. This APA Style In-Text CitationsLinks to an external site. page shows how to cite sources used in sentences and paragraphs (https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations).
Discuss the contrasting perspective shared by a second source. Be sure to include one brief quotation and cite appropriately.
Compare the arguments and evaluate the sources overall, indicating which you feel is more credible and has a stronger argument. Explain your evaluation.
Provide complete references in APA style for both sources. This APA Style ReferencesLinks to an external site. page shows how to write reference list citations (https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references).
For your second post, describe an aspect of your chosen technology on which there is widespread agreement. Show how two or more of your sources have common perspectives on this aspect of the technology. While discussing that commonality, include a brief quotation from each source that illustrates the similar views expressed in each source. Cite both quoted and paragraphrased source information in your writing. End your post with a full reference citation for all sources used in this post. -
Title: The Black Girl Experience in the USA: A Legacy of Self-Hatred and Sexualization from Slavery to the Present
I want to talk about the Black girl experience in the USA and how it hasn’t changed since slavery using books from the class I took. I want you to explain why Black women hate their skin, hair, and how features like our body are over sexualized by White men (slave owners). I want you to use text from books the book Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs, The Long Song Novel by Andrea Levy, and Homegoing Novel by Yaa Gyasi (the last book could be tricky just use one or two examples). You can also talk about colorism and how light-skin the Black girls view themselves in these novel compare and contrast. You can use the essay I have already written to help you.
Here are my professors’ instructions:
Analyze and make an original argument about one or more of the assigned literary works, bringing in secondary historical, critical, digital, and/or theoretical sources and providing a new critical lens for others to read/understand the literary work(s);
• Place your argument within larger social, political, and historical contexts for the feminist revolutionary imagination across the Americas;
• Be solidly researched, with a Works Cited page listing at least 7-10 secondary historical, critical, and/or theoretical sources (ok to use texts from other MA classes);
• Be 12-15+ pages, double spaced, with one-inch margins, 12-point font (note that most journals are looking for a maximum of 5000-10,000 words); and
• Use MLA format for citations and the Works Cited page: https://library.ccny.cuny.edu/researchtoolkit/citing
