While you are not limited to these journals, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you select articles from the list above. You are specifically restricted from using Wikipedia or similar encyclopedic sources. You are required to use library search avenues to find articles, and you must attach the articles to your assignment.
Write a three-page paper describing the theory and the article’s findings. Be sure to outline the principle tenets that were supported and those that were not. After analyzing the theory, state concluding thoughts: Should this theory be accepted or rejected when creating crime control policies? Why?

Write two (seperate on same documanet) of these:
Research: Look through news sites and social media, watch or listen to news programs, and/or read newspapers/magazines to identify a current criminological event. This could range from street crime, to protests, to violence perpetrated by the state, etc.
Summarize: After finding 2 – 3 sources on your chosen current event, summarize what the sources discuss, and how they discuss/describe the event.
Critique: Using Radical Criminology, critique the current event you chose. Critique the event itself, how the news sources discuss/describe the event, and the response to the event by the public, the government, corporations, etc.
Formatting: Your critiques should be 1-2pages, single spaced using 12 pt font, with normal 1-inch margins. CITE ALL SOURCES.

The opioid crisis has become a controversial issue that is becoming harder to ignore. In the context of the relationship between psychology and criminal behavior, substance abuse is one of the leading risk factors for criminal behavior. Therefore, criminal psychologists, public health professionals, and the community-at-large are examining the implications of the crisis, the most crucial of which appears to be a relationship between homicide and violent crime rates and opioid abuse.
For this discussion, conduct additional research on the opioid crisis using the University of Arizona Global Campus Library to ensure you are aware of the latest issues in the opioid crisis national debate. Then, briefly debate the issue with your classmates.
Choose one of the prompts below, and debate the issue from the perspective listed:
Prompt 1: Physicians are responsible and have caused the opioid crisis by overprescribing pain medications that are highly addictive.
Remember to provide your insight into whether rising violent crime rates stems from the opioid crisis as asserted in your assigned readings.

During Week 1 assignments and study, we initially examined the significance of maintaining public-private partnerships in combatting various threats to organization assets. We focused on private security operatives and public law enforcement agencies and the ways these entities can share information and work together to achieve mutually successful threat prevention and risk mitigation strategies and goals, particularly relating to all types of traditional criminal behavior, emergency management preparedness, and terrorism.
Our Week 6 assignments and study focus specifically on how security and intelligence units for private organizations (as described in Week 4 assignments) and government agencies, such as the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), can maintain collaborative efforts to prevent, mitigate, and manage risk in a way that protects an organization’s assets and indeed those of the United States more effectively.
In this regard, employing this week’s reading assignments, and ensuring your written responses are distinguishable from each other and follow the same sequence and order the questions are presented:
Explain how an organization’s cybersecurity program, particularly those operating in the DHS 16 critical infrastructure sectors, support our national security interests and, at the same time, add business value to its own assets. Use examples to enhance your response.
Discuss how organizations can partner with CISA to build a stronger cybersecurity workforce that serves both national and organizational pursuits.
Describe the technological advances that could potentially be exploited through such public – private partnerships to more effectively protect assets.  Provide examples using authoritative resources to support your response.

The offender is identified with a full description, including dates of birth
and death, and geographic information.
III. History of the Offender
Provide background information about the serial killer such as 
childhood, residence, family, etc.
IV. Motives and Theoretical Explanation
Determine a motive for the killing along with a theoretical explanation.
Students must choose a criminological theory that best explains the
commission of the killer(s) crimes.
V. Criminal History
Provide a number of kills – suspected, proven, convicted, claimed /
admitted to, etc. Include dispositions (sentences imposed) as attached to any crimes the offender was convicted of in court. Information about
the kills is required to include details such as victim names, offenses 
included, etc.
VI. Typology
Decide which of the presented typologies would best fit or be used to
describe this particular serial killer. With the choice, provide a definition and description of this typology. Be sure to also include a full application of this typology to the offender and his / her crimes by way of 
connecting details.
VII. Predatory Traits and Crime Scene
Establish whether this particular offender was more organized or
disorganized in their crime scene behaviors. This section should also 
include reference to predatory traits and or criminal paraphilia the 
offender may have possessed.

Introduction
There are hundreds of jurisdictions in the United States on the state and federal level. Each jurisdiction can have its own set of laws, including rules of evidence and procedure that govern how an individual’s rights are protected. A defendant may receive greater protections in one state jurisdiction than in another. During our review of the material, in the book, understand that often you’re learning about federal law or common law. However, Florida law mirrors federal law very closely. For example, the Federal Rules of Evidence and Florida Rules of Evidence are nearly identical substantively and are even numbered similarly. Florida simply adds a “90” in front of its rules of evidence. Federal Rule of Evidence 403 is 90.403 in Florida. As we learn more about the different laws that govern criminal procedure feel comfortable that your knowledge will be easily applied to any Florida scenario.
