Does restorative justice repair harm and rebuild relationships between offenders and victims, offering an alternative to traditional criminal justice?

Format Requirements:

You must have at least four resources to support your thoughts/opinions/information. These must be cited both in text as well as at the end of the document. Your paper should not contain direct quotes, sourced material must be paraphrased.
Questions should be answered in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 format.
While there is not a firm page requirement, it is expected that to thoroughly answer these questions, your assignment will likely be a minimum of 2 pages and a maximum of 5.

The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate the way historical leaders and/or events are portrayed in popular culture and movies as compared with discussions in this class and via your research.  (The criminal justice administration) 
Remember, I have seen the movie so I am not interested in a narrative describing the movie.  Depth is favored over breath, but you might want to start with a quick overview.  Your paper should include your opinion on how the film might inform/misinform on these individuals/ circumstances in three specific areas.  You may use a combination of areas in your paper but not more than three specific areas of review.
This is a simple task provided you put some energy and thought into your paper.  Go beyond the confines of the movie and judge the movie against classroom information and other  historical sources on your three chosen themes.
You will need to have at least 6 evidence-based citations from research and peer-reviewed articles to support your conclusions.  CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and internet articles are not valid nor acceptable for citations, nor are encyclopedia-type references.  You can use them but they do not count as one of the 6 viable citations.
Must indicate how the citation is used in the paper.
Must have three themes from the movie that could be related to the criminal justice administration

The movie Lincoln portrays and informs about topics within the Justice and Public Safety Administration by focusing on President Lincoln’s actions and the result of his actions during two ongoing events: the ending of the Civil War and the passing of the Thirteenth Amendment.

You are a community policing officer assigned to 55 precinct Beat “1” which is a very diverse beat. Within the beat, there are newly arrived immigrants who do not trust the police because of experiences they faced in their home countries Describe initiatives you would create to build trust and get them involved in solving problems. 
Your response should be a minimum of three paragraphs, 200-300 words typed – double-spaced.
Your paper must be submitted in an APA format with references as appropriate.

Assignment must be completed with answering the questions listed below.
Choose a theoretical perspective (I.e., biological, psychological sociological)
Look through media images (this can be cartoons, magazines, newspapers, internet stories, etc…) and select 10 images that you think depict your chosen theory without written explanation.
Give a one paragraph statement of your theory, what kinds of behavior it explains and how it is depicted through images. Be sure to use resources to support your answer.
