  • Search and Arrest Warrant Scenarios in Criminal Investigations

In one paragraph with at least 6 sentences create a fictional scenario of a specific crime involving a search warrant. Give details regarding the evidence that the police have access to and the people involved.
In one paragraph with at least 6 sentences create a fictional scenario of a specific crime involving an arrest warrant. Give details regarding the evidence that the police have access to and the people involved.
For sources only use the two I have provided.
    Here is an example :
    Search Warrant Scenario
The scenario is about cybercrime investigations. Police have been investigating identity
theft and unauthorized access to several people’s bank accounts through fraudulent transactions.
Following the digital forensic analysis conducted by the police, it was established that various
electronic devices, such as smartphones and laptops, have been utilizing sophisticated networks
that use a given IP address. The IP address is found to be linked to a given residential property,
which has led to the police believing that they can find tangible evidence to nail down the
perpetrators. The law enforcement officers have, therefore, sought a search warrant to enter and
search the residential premises associated with the IP address. They intend to seize the electronic
devices on the premises that may have been used in committing the crimes. According to
Lippman (2022) says a search must have a probable cause and the probable cause in this case is the
cybercrimes linked to the IP address found in the premises.
    Arrest Warrant Scenario
The arrest warrant scenario entails a homicide case where a young man in his early 20s
was found dead in his home. Investigations conducted by the police state that two neighbors
indicated that on the fateful day, a young lady who frequented the residence was seen leaving the
premises after they heard a commotion. Two days later, after the young man failed to turn up to
work where he worked at a bar, a colleague decided to go check on him only to find his lifeless
body and inform the police. After the neighbors described the young lady, the colleague stated
that she met the description of the young man’s workmate, who was a young lady, they were free
with. Although she was not his girlfriend, they shared moments together. Police have now sought
a warrant of arrest for the young lady since her DNA was found at the crime scene, and they
need her to be interrogated. Several employees at the bar also stated that they saw her leave with
the young man on this fateful day.
