  • “Final Report and Reflection: Observations and Analysis of a Child’s Learning and Development”

    Requirements:
    • Total length for the Final Report and Reflection: 4-5 pages (double-spaced per APA
format, but no title page required):
o 3-4 pages for the Final Report
o 1/2 to 1 page for the Reflection
    • Key Tips
o Use the feedback provided each week to refine the summaries for this final
    version.
o While you are interpreting some of the observations by indicating what these
observations tell you about this child’s learning and development, the report
    should still be objective.
o Use a positive tone, focusing on strengths and skills that a child has mastered.
o Address areas in which the child needs additional support and/or is still working
    to develop skills.
o Include a header with the pseudonym you are using for the child and the child’s
age in years and months. The overall format should follow APA format, but you
do not need to include a title page or reference page.
