    Make sure your 3-5-minute presentation has an opening/introduction with preview of key points; a body that discusses your points in an organized fashion (focusing on three points is usually best – think of these as the three takeaways for your audience); and a conclusion that summarizes the recommendations you made in your paper.

    When an organization looks at competitive differentiation, costs of doing business, they do SWOT and SOFT analyses, all as a part of determining the strategic direction of the business. As the leader of the organization’s human resources department, you will be developing your own strategy, which will provide direction to your group on how your team will support the overall goals of the company.
    You work for a small-box retailer that’s a little late getting into the ecommerce space. Now, the company wants to move quickly from a “bricks-and-mortar” only approach to one that embraces omnichannel retailing. Why? Because the competition is eating their lunch!
    Currently, the company’s website is barely a page or two. One page features an “about the company” area and a list of store locations. As an HR leader, you have a recruiting page on it and a link to your application system, but that’s about it. Ecommerce and omnichannel retailing seem light years away, but the company’s five-year plan calls for it to be up and running in short order.

    We know you’re not an ecommerce professional or a retail professional and, hey, you’ve only gotten into the second module of HR management. That aside, we still think you have what it takes to help save this company! You’re going to use what you know about human resources strategy planning—that is, attracting talent, building high performance work organizations and aligning people with the business—to support the company’s efforts to get into omnichannel retailing.

    This is a 3 part asssignment. It is one essay but split into 3 different parts each with a reference page. 
    Part 1 of Organizational Reframing Paper – Due end of week 5
    Select an organizational unit with which you have a depth of familiarity (e.g., an office you work
    in/have worked in, an organization in which you are actively involved). Briefly describe the unit, including the
    mission, purpose, and salient organizational elements of the site. Also, introduce the primary issue(s) or
    problem(s) that you plan to examine. If there are no “glaring” issues, you might situate your analysis in terms of
    improving existing structures or systems. Part 1 should be 3-4 pages in length. Part 1 will be the first part of your

    Part 2 
    Analyze the organization you chose in Part 1 by applying a primary frame that you think fits your
    unit and a secondary frame (frame you think provides important information about your unit, but less than the
    primary metaphor) from the Bolman and Deal text. The primary frame you choose should make up most of your
    analysis, while the secondary frame will serve as an alternate lens for your analysis. Thus, you should discuss
    your secondary frame in less depth than your primary frame. You should also discuss where the frames fall short
    in your context. Part 2 should be an additional 4-5 pages. Be sure to review the rubric so that you fully meet the
    criteria.
    Part 3
    Examine the role that organizational culture within the unit may play in attempts to address the
    issues or problems identified in Part 1. Offer recommendations for courses of action that your unit could take to
    address the issues you identified and illuminated through the frames. Recommendations that stem clearly from
    the analysis (Part 2) are most desirable. Imagine that you were going to submit the recommendations to
