Assessment 1.
Management of an Event or a Project
Describe an instance where you were required to manage a
specific event or project. This does not necessarily need to have been in a
business setting or required you to have a manager title. For example, you
might have managed a social event, a church event, et cetera. What is required
is that other people were involved and your management skills were used. If you
do not have an example, share your experience with a manager who led an event
or a project you were involved in as a team member.

“Effective Organizational Leadership: Identifying Potential Problems and Solutions for CapraTek” Reflection on Writing Feedback and Application in Doctoral Work Reflection on Writing Feedback and Application in Doctoral Work Executive Summary: In this assignment, I have created a business plan and business model illustration, identified potential leadership, information systems, and marketing business
Effective Organizational Leadership: Final Report
Overview
In this assignment, you will create a final business report that you will write in your role as a business consultant. This report will be compiled from your previous assignments with the addition of new material. In this report, you will inform the CEO of CapraTek of potential problems within leadership, information systems, and marketing, and list effective models and theories within the scholarly and practitioner literature that can be used to further understand the problems. You will identify and discuss a framework that relates to the leadership problem. You will explain best practices for the creation of a business plan, discuss three business problem statements, and develop a fishbone diagram showing the root cause of the leadership problem. You will develop a mind map for the leadership problem to illustrate the linkages among the key concepts in the framework.
For clarity, draw on the work you completed to develop the previous course assignments and then add in new material to create a cohesive final business report.
Your audience for this business report is the CEO of CaptraTek, who will be using your report to implement changes to the organization that foster effective organizational leadership as the company prepares to enter a new market.
You will be expected to revise and add to your previously submitted work based on any feedback you received to create a doctoral-level paper.
Business Report
Create an 8-10-page final report analyzing the business problems found in three scholarly articles clearly noting how these problems could be experienced by the leaders of CapraTek. You have limited information on CapraTek; therefore, you cannot be sure that problems that affect the larger industry will be experienced by CapraTek but in your role as a consultant, you want to let the CapraTek leaders know that they might experience these problems, and should have a plan in place to recognize and understand these potential problems related to leadership, information systems, and marketing management. Your objective is to provide the CEO and leaders of CapraTek with a deep understanding of the potential problems they might experience. Your goal is not to try to solve the problems.
Instructions
Write an 8–10-page business report in which you complete the following:
Write a one-page executive summary that summarizes the 8–10-page business report.
Describe best practices for the creation of a business plan that aligns with organizational goals, with the inclusion of a business planning model and an illustration of that model.
Make any revisions to the three potential business problem statements you developed in the previous assignments stating the specific problem for each of the following three areas: leadership, information systems, and marketing. You can use phrasing such as, “The potential business problem is…”
For your leadership problem, include an illustration that shows how the problem was narrowed down using a fishbone diagram (Ishikawa diagram) or a cause-and-effect diagram, where you worked out the major factors involved and identified possible causes of the leadership problem.
For your leadership problem, identify a framework (which can be based on a theoretical or conceptual framework) and explain how the framework relates to the leadership problem. Explain the rationale for selecting this framework.
For each problem you developed, identify a model or theory within scholarly and practitioner literature that can be used to further understand the problem. For clarity, you should identify, discuss, and explain at least three different models or theories, not simply one model or theory that would apply to all three problems. Your objective is to help the CEO of CapraTek identify and understand that these problems exist in the larger industry, and that CapraTek might also experience these same problems. Your goal is not to try to solve the problem.
In addition, create an appendix with a brief (1–2 paragraphs) reflection on the writing feedback you received and how you applied it. Reflect on the nature of the constructive feedback you received, and explain how you will improve the quality of your doctoral work.
Your report should include the following headings and subheadings:
Executive Summary.
Best Practices for the Creation of a Business Plan and a Business Model Illustration.
Potential Leadership Business Problem.
Theory or Model.
Fishbone Diagram and Explanation.
Framework and Rationale.
Mind Map.
Potential Information Systems Business Problem.
Theory or Model.
Potential Marketing Business Problem.
Theory or Model.

“Overcoming Adversity: My Journey to Success and Self-Discovery”
I was a person that was giving up at life and school for most part, especially when you have people that, you think would support you but wanted you to fail at the end. During high school I was always an A or B Student after high school things went left. I dropped of college where I was attending UCONN because at that point I was ready to give up. It took me a year to Realized that, what I was doing was not okay and was setting me back from the person I wanted to become. I went to Norwalk community college and ask for help to start somewhere because I know I can do anything I put my mind to. From a young age I was always into track and field, a sport that I will spend quality time doing because I feel happier and confident. At times I be thinking I’m weird, because during school there few subjects that I do good especially math, one minute ill like that particular subject the next minute I hate. But once I understand the concept of a class or subject then I succeed. When it comes to Volunteer, I’ve gotten less experience with that, which I know volunteering bring better experience. During my free time I’ll watch a lot of motivational videos, take a walk, catch up with friends and family here and there, and for most part ill some alone time to self -reflect on what I want my life to be. I started my first job as a fast-food worker then I move my way to an assistant manager, which the environment was toxic so I left. I was hired at the bank by a family friend, that’s what I’m doing currently. Knowing myself I wanted to become an accountant, or a business owner, or financing. Working at the bank I’ll try to gain as much experience so I can become a better person and achieve more.
