  • The Importance of Identity and Hospitality in Cultural Engagement

for each thread, students must support their assertions with at least 1
textbook citation, following current APA Professional Standards. Each reply must incorporate at
least 1 textbook citation, following current APA Professional Standards. Any additional
scholarly sources cited must have been published within the last five years.
The reading from our first two weeks of class in Cultural Engagement: A Crash Course in Contemporary Issues, covered a wide range of contemporary issues including sexuality, gender roles, abortion, reproductive technology, immigration, race, climate change, animal welfare, and politics. As you begin working on your Personal Culture and Worldview Paper Assignment, you will be examining and articulating your cultural identity in specific areas for that assignment. For this discussion, focus on defining what hospitality and identity confusion mean to you. In addition to citing and referencing authors from Cultural Engagement, include your faith in this discussion. Identity confusion was referred to in Strachan’s (2019) essay on women and work; however, you can apply this concept to any of the issues from our reading.
Dong and Lowe (2019) discuss hospitality in their essay on immigration. Aim to further explore this concept of hospitality by thinking about what this means to you in working with people who are different than you. What action steps or goals can you identify in pursuing biblical hospitality (see Romans 12:13 and Hebrews 13:2, for example)? Do not use subheadings. Write one paragraph on identity confusion and one paragraph on hospitality.

  • Title: The Intersection of Science and Wisdom: A Reflection on Augustin Fuentes’ Perspectives

    Instructions
The first writing response is aimed at reflecting on science and knowledge (philosophically, epistemology) in the light of this podcast episode –>(https://onbeing.org/programs/agustin-fuentes-this-species-moment/). In this episode, you also meet the author of the textbook we are using, Augustin Fuentes. Form your writing response in three main parts:
What is science based on how Fuentes defines this theme in the textbook? Use your own words to articulate the main ideas (rather than simply copying words). Make sure to set up some clear contrasts: What is not science and why? (according to Fuentes, not according to your own opinion on this).
According to Fuentes, what is wisdom and why is it important? This part comes strictly from the podcast episode.
In an overall reflection, connect these two accounts and discuss the following: What kind of a relationship exists between wisdom and science? Is wisdom something only scientists have access to? Why or why not? Is there a difference between scientifically grounded wisdom and folk wisdom more generally?
Formatting: use single-spacing with one space between each paragraph (always break your writing into proper paragraphs).
Length: Your response should be a min of 500 words (longer is always okay if you have more to say). As a whole, make sure to use your own words. You can bring in brief quotes but always identify the source clearly (for the podcast, the time point of the quote – minutes and seconds, for the chapter, the relevant page number).
Citations: Because we already know the sources of information that your response is based on, you do not need a bibliography. Simply identify any quotes clearly and mark the time point or the page number in parenthesis at the end of the sentence. There is no need to use any further sources in your response. However, if you do so, then you do need to use a bibliography at the end of your response and precisely identify where this extra information is coming from.

  • “Strategic Resourcing and Talent Management: Sustaining Success in Organizations”

Hello. I need to submit my CIPD Level 7 – 7HR02 Unit Assignment (Unit:
7HR02  – Resourcing and Talent Management to Sustain Success).
Please note that it is very important to read all the attached documents. They are important as they contain information on questions to be answered, tips and also information on writing style.
You will be asked to answer 4 questions based on the instructions (the file with the instructions is attached – 7HR02 Assessment Brief.pdf) with a total word count of 4000 (plus or minus 5-10% is allowed).
You will write four answers of approximately 1000 words to the questions posed and submit them together in a single document. This constitutes your assessment for this unit. The total word count for the assessment will therefore be 4000 words, plus or minus 10%. The bibliography, list of references and essential appendixes (if applicable) are not included in the total word count – but the latter must be kept to a minimum across all assessments. You must demonstrate within the submitted evidence (through headings and sub-headings) which learning outcomes and assessment criteria have been cited.
As this is an Advanced Diploma, it is important that you are able to demonstrate not only good knowledge and understanding of the material associated with each learning outcome, but also the ability to develop an original argument and justify it persuasively with reference to wider reading. Examples of approaches taken in a range of organisations are also an effective means by which to justify your arguments.
Please, read and use these files in the Essay:
    7HR02 Assessment Brief Unit.pdf,
    7HR02 Unit Guide.pdf,
    And all other attached documents.
