Midterm Papers should span between seven-to-eight pages (including title, abstract and reference pages).
Coding schemes consist of 1 or2 themes selected from the Hip-Hop framework. Also, the Hip-Hop framework posted on Canvas.

Specifically, the Midterm Paper assignment also requires students to highlight all lyrics that speaks or applies to your coding scheme. Also, in a separate file, please submit the lyrics of the entire album; with the highlighted lyrics that speak to your theme(s). If you fail to submit the coded lyrics for the entire album, then 25 points will be deducted from your Final Paper grade. This means that a perfect paper will only receive a 75 for a grade.
Furthermore, Midterm Papers consist of seven parts:
I. Mid-Term Paper – Qualitative Analysis
(1) Title page (1 page);
(2) Abstract – (1paragraph);
(3) Introduction – the introduction clearly describes the focus or topic, population and research question(s) (1/2 – 1 page);
(4) Qualitative Analysis (4-5 pages)
(5) Conclusion (1/2 page – 1page) –summarize core arguments raised in paper;
(6) Reference section
(7) Coded Lyrics – print out all lyrics for one album and code lyrics
Final Papers are tasked with revising the Midterm Paper and conducting a five-page literature review. Also, this literature review is required to draw on high-quality academic references including: journal articles, edited book chapters, books or reputable news periodicals. And the literature review should be inserted at the beginning of the paper; and the revised Midterm Paper should follow the literature review. Final Papers should consist of 12-14 pages (including title, abstractand reference pages).

Your analysis should include the necessary descriptive analytics tests to communicate your understanding of what story the data is telling us.
Your deliverables for this assignment are:
Business questions
Screenshot of the imported dataset. Screenshots must include the date and time of screen capture.
Screenshot of the loaded dataset. Screenshots must include the date and time of screen capture.
Descriptive statistics to include charts, graphs, tables, business insights, and the story the data is telling us.

Title: Exploring Levels of Evidence in Fall Prevention Interventions for Elderly Patients: A Literature Review
This assignment must follow the template provided.
This assessment requires you to explore the literature. Using the PICOT you developed (Mine was written about elderly falls) at the beginning of the course, search the literature (library database) to find 2 research articles that are examples of 2 different levels on the levels of evidence hierarchy (example of levels uploaded down below). The pyramid that illustrates the levels of hierarchy is provided in instructional materials. Please read about the levels of evidence to ensure you understand them before selecting your articles.
Develop your title page
Page 1: Provide your APA 7th edition reference for your 1st article at the top of the page.
In paragraph 1, identify the level of evidence on the hierarchy, summarize the design, sample, hypothesis/research question and any other components of the study itself
In paragraph 2, discuss the findings and the relevance/importance of the study to nursing practice (ie. why is this information important to know?)
NO CONCLUSION is needed.
On a new page, Provide your APA 7th edition reference for your 2nd article at the top of the page.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the second article. Again, no conclusion is needed.
Your studies MUST be less than 5 years old (no exceptions).
Example of preferred template they desired added below.
Mine PICOT question:
PICOT question: “In elderly patients (P), does the implementation of
fall prevention interventions (I) compared to standard care or no intervention
(C) reduce the risk of falls and related injuries (O) within six months’
timeframe (T)?”
Objectives
Understand the research levels of evidence hierarchy (pyramid)
Demonstrate effective data base search strategies
Identify studies by level of evidence -
Title: “The Intersection of Science and Business: Exploring the Chemistry and Commercial Impact of Biotechnology Innovations”
Term Paper– at least 2000 word paper 8 pages (not including citations) on a topic covering a chemical or biology innovation with a focus on the discussion of the course. The student would then be required to research the innovation, the chemistry or biology behind it, and the commercial impact.
The marks breakdown for the term paper is as follows:
40 % on the discussion of the science (How does this work?)
40 % on the discussion of the business case and:
20 % on how you put the two together -
Exploring the Impact of Active Listening on Resolving Conflict in Interpersonal Communication
This proposal assignment is designed to get you started on the final project by asking you to argue for the following:
propose an issue or question within interpersonal communication that you think is important to study. (see the three bullet point questions below; I encourage you to reference our source material as a means to support your proposal)
explain how you hope to study your issue/question,
and speculate on any observations that you think you will make.
As best you can, write your response to the following three questions (you can present them in any order):
What issue or conflict within interpersonal conflict would you like to study? Eventually, you will need to pinpoint a specific case that you can analyze (e.g. this could be an excerpt from a story, a transcript of a conversation, a screenplay, a script, a narrative account of an experience you yourself had or observed). But if you’re unsure yet about the specifics, a good place to start is to think more generally (e.g. a professional delivering bad news to their supervisor; someone breaking off a romantic relationship; a police officer issuing a citation to an offender unwilling to accept said citation). Whether your conflict is specific or general, say as much as you can at this point about what you think the case represents.
What broad questions and concepts are you interested in thinking about further? Use any of the terms we’ve studied so far to formulate one or two questions about the conflict you’d like to study. Try out various “how” and “why” type questions (e.g. How does active listening help resolve or exacerbate conflict when one part is physically violent?). You may find it best to first invent a long list of all kinds of questions, and then cross off the ones that are least relevant to the case you described for the previous question.
Why are you interested? As best you can, explain to us why you care about these questions and this case. And, if possible, why should we care?
rite up your response and submit it to this assignment. We will share our submissions with each other in an effort to further develop each other’s interpersonal communication studies.ontent Development | WLO 1, 2, CO2
