  • The Complex Dynamics of Adulterous Relationships: Motives, Marital Dynamics, and Gender Differences in Divorce

Please answer one of the two questions below.
I want very focused essays directly addressing all the sub-questions and including only relevant material.
Answers should be approximately three pages and not to exceed four double spaced pages.
Do not use outside material but rather use the course readings and your insights into the material.
    1) It has been argued that in an adulterous relationship, the lover of the unfaithful party is frequently not a suitable or
likely long-term partner, and the affair is really a function of the current state of the marriage. In what type of affair
might this be case? Hint: (The conflict-avoidant affair). In your essay emphasize what typically are the motives of the
cheater and marital dynamics associated with this type of affairs. What type of affair might have less relevance to the marriage and are more about the desire for self-expansion (Hint: the Spilt Self affair).  What is the psychological history
of the cheater in the Spilt Self affair, the motives for cheating, and the state of their marriage? (There are 3 things to
discuss here: motives, state of the marriage and the psychological history). What about the intimate avoidant and
sexual addiction affairs? What are the motives, marital dynamics, and the desire for self-expansion?  What are the
typical motives of these cheaters and the state of their marriage?
    2) What are the gender differences for men and women when experiencing divorce?   Please discuss issues surrounding physical and mental health, finances, and the role of children. Please be careful to evaluate these experiences from the perspective of both members of the couple.  Since gay marriage is relatively recent there are few articles on “divorcing”
but I’ll be impressed with any thoughtful comments on this topic.  Also, how might experiences of physical and mental
health, finances and children affect the next committed relationship or remarriage?

  • The Power of Programmatic Market Research in the Digital Era

    Market research stands as a
cornerstone for marketers, offering indispensable insights into the intricate
dynamics of consumer behavior, preferences, and sentiments. In her analysis,
Linda Pophal (2021) underscores the pivotal role of market research platforms,
especially in the digital sphere, where instantaneous communication and
consumer feedback proliferate (p. 20). Unlike the conventional methods that
often necessitated weeks or even months to yield insights, programmatic
research empowers marketers with real-time data analytics, drawing from an
expansive pool of digital interactions (Pophal, 2021, p. 20).
    Furthermore,
while traditional research approaches predominantly focused on gauging consumer
awareness, perceptions, and opinions, digital analysis platforms offer a deeper
dive into consumer actions, furnishing marketers with nuanced insights into
specific audience segments (Pophal, 2021, p. 20). This paradigm shift enables
marketers to transcend conjecture and directly assess consumer behavior,
thereby enhancing the efficacy of marketing communication and customer
    relationship management initiatives.
    The
emergence of programmatic market research platforms, as highlighted by Pophal
(2021), extends marketers access to a treasure trove of data, pivotal for
strategic decision-making, particularly in the realm of digital advertising (p.
22). As the digital advertising landscape burgeons, understanding consumer
behavior and preferences becomes paramount for marketers seeking to optimize
    their advertising placements (Pophal, 2021, p. 22).
    Nevertheless,
despite the myriad benefits of programmatic platforms, marketers must remain
cognizant of their inherent limitations. While these platforms offer real-time
insights, concerns persist regarding their propensity for narrow focus and the
potential for skewed results (Pophal, 2021, p. 23). Hence, traditional market
research methodologies retain their relevance, furnishing marketers with a
holistic understanding of consumer behavior and trends, thereby facilitating
informed decision-making across diverse marketing channels.
    In
summation, market research assumes a pivotal role in enabling marketers to
decipher consumer behavior and preferences, particularly in the digital era. By
amalgamating insights gleaned from programmatic platforms with traditional
research methodologies, marketers can glean invaluable insights to inform their
marketing strategies and augment their customer relationship management
    endeavors.

  • “Assessing the Feasibility of a Capital Investment: A Cost Accounting Perspective on Healthcare America’s MRI Facility Purchase”

    Overview
Most businesses are forced to evaluate opportunities for capital investments to allocate scarce funds. While there are many ways to evaluate the wisdom of capital investment, one such way is to do so from a cost accounting perspective. In this assignment, you play the role of cost accountant evaluating a planned investment.
    Scenario
Healthcare America is weighing the purchase of a new $3M MRI facility to serve its expanding presence in the area of orthopedic medicine. The expectation is that the machine will be nearly fully utilized in the next five years. The government recently exempted taxes on profits from new investments to encourage capital investments. The equipment is expected to have 10 years of useful life with no salvage value. The company employs straight-line depreciation. Net cash inflows of $800,000 are expected each year for five years. The company uses a rate of 9% in evaluating its capital investment projects.
    Instructions
Create a professional PowerPoint presentation (with detailed speaker′s notes) that fully supports your recommendation of whether or not this capital expenditure is justified from a cost accounting perspective.
Include the following in the presentation:
Explain your overall approach to evaluating the capital purchase.
    What criteria are most important?
What questions do you need answered?
Justify your choice of three capital investment measures that you believe best support a responsible recommendation.
Perform the calculations for each of your chosen measures. (Note: If you need more data for your chosen methods, make sure to state your assumptions or reasonably chosen data values.)
Recommend your choice on whether or not to make this investment with support from your calculations and the other considerations stated in your overall approach.
Describe the two most significant risks associated with your recommendation from a cost accounting perspective.
    Additional Requirements
    Presentation Guidelines
Length: 8-10 slides, that would accompany an approximately 10-15-minute oral presentation. Although you are not required to record or give a presentation for this assignment, the slides and speaker notes must contain enough information as if you were presenting.
Prepare detailed speaker′s notes describing items on each slide so that the viewer can accurately interpret the deeper meanings and intentions that would have been conveyed orally.
Visuals: Include graphical elements that are easy to read and interpret. Use colors, fonts, formatting, and other design principles that make the information clear and generally add to the aesthetic and professionalism of the presentation.
The specific course learning outcome associated with this assignment is:
Evaluate capital investments from a cost accounting perspective.
