Remember, the thesis should capture the stance on the topic. You should take an argumentative stance on a topic. What is your claim? Think about a thesis like “The government should regulate social media because point 1, point 2, and point 3.” Point 1, point 2, and point 3 will be the next three topics of your body paragraphs, followed by a counterargument, rebuttal, and conclusion.
