Language: What terms, symbols, and/or nonverbal expressions are unique to the subculture? Does the subculture have its own argot?

    Normative culture:
Norms: What rules for behavior has the subculture established? What sanctions exist within the subculture to enforce norms?

In this graduate course you are expected to participate often and engage in deep levels of discourse.  Please post your initial response as early as possible and continue to participate throughout the unit. You are required to post an initial response to the question/issue presented in the Forum and then respond to at least 3 of your classmates’ initial posts.  You should also respond to anyone who has responded to you.
The shift to the information economy has changed the role of the manager in today’s organization.   Research has demonstrated that a majority of workers in this new knowledge economy are knowledge workers or workers whose work output is the result of thinking versus a physical process.  Discuss what skills today’s managers need in the knowledge economy that weren’t required a decade ago?
