  • Title: “Breaking the Spell: Reimagining Fairy Tales for Gender Empowerment”

    Fairy Tale.
I want you to rewrite a fairy tale OR create your own fairy tale. The reason I want you to do this paper is because we need to focus critical attention on fairy tales because many of them, if not almost all of them, are the products of the patriarchal culture in our society and this is how we have been socially constructed and culturally conditioned to believe what we can and cannot do as a woman and a man. To rewrite fairy tales is to break the spell or curse of patriarchy. You can rewrite any fairy tales that you are familiar with by adding new characters or changing the storyline, your goal is to dismantle the patriarchal culture and to empower women.
This paper needs to be 7-10 pages long (  2000-3500 words) . And double spaced. You shall begin your paper with this sentence: Once upon a time…….

  • “Gender, Crime, and the Media: An Analysis of ‘Monster’ (2003) Through a Feminist Criminological Lens”

**the media being discussed in this analysis is the film MONSTER (2003) starring Charlize Theron. The film depicts the life of American serial killer, Aileen Wuornos.**
“Student will select one (1) of the listed media sources below and will critically analyze the way in
which the movie/documentary frames/constructs the gender and crime issue. Students must
reflect on their selected media source.
The essay will consist of five parts: 1) an introduction; 2) a description of the selected media; 3)
a review of the gender and crime issue(s) raised in their media source; 4) an analysis of the way
in which the gender and crime issue is addressed in the media source using a relevant perspective,
course and academic sources to support their analysis; and 5) a conclusion that reflects on the
nature and quality of the coverage of the issue in the media source.
Students must rely on a minimum of three (3) external academic sources for their paper. The
analysis must also be supported by a minimum of two (2) course materials.”
in the essay, incorporate course themes and topics such as how femininity can conflict with accepted definitions of crime, violence and disorder, the duality of women as both victims and offenders, repeated victimization of women resulting in criminality and violence against women in Canadian prisons. Another important topic to consider is the role of the media in the perception of female criminality. CLEARLY identify the crime and gender issue being discussed and make sure to incorprate feminist criminology into the essay as well as the pathologization of women who come into the criminal justice system.
**The assignment rubric and course powerpoints are attached.**
The essay requires three external academic sources and two
from the course. Use any of the following three sources as the course materials:
Chesney-Lind, M., & Pasko, L. (2013). Girls, gangs, and violence. In The female offender: Girls, women, and crime (pp. 33-56). Thousand Oakes CA: Sage.
Menzies, R., & Chunn, D. E. (2006). The making of a black widow: The criminal and
psychiatric control of women. In G. Balfour & E. Comack (Eds) Criminalizing women:
Gender and (in)justice in neo-liberal times (pp. 174-194). Halifax: Fernwood publishing.
    Kilty, J. M., & Frigon, S. (2007). Karla Homolka—From a woman in danger to a dangerous
woman: Chronicling the shifts. Women & Criminal Justice, 17(4), 37-61.

  • “Exploring Minimalism, Distance, and Nature: A Multifaceted Discussion of Six Texts”

    Cal Newport, “The Minimalist Companion”
    Peter Sagal, “Distance”
    Bonnie Tsui, “The Grasshopper”
also find at least three additional texts related to the relevant topics that you can use as sources and integrate into your discussion. (So there will be at least six texts integrated into your discussion — one of the assigned texts and three additional “research” sources.) Make and clearly explain useful connections among the various texts and topics, and be sure that your own voice controls the discussion.
(These do not need to be “scholarly” in the sense of publication in academic journals, but they should definitely be more substantive and content-rich than a typical blog post)
ATTACHMENTSA quick glance tells us that development will definitely be an issue with this draft: you’ve written a classic five paragraph discussion (which we know would be inadequate for the discussion of even a single article—and for this project you’re supposed to be discussing six separate texts by six different authors).
Sure enough, you attempt to cover each selected assigned article and its “paired” additional source in a single paragraph, which means each article gets only a handful of sentences (which of necessity consist largely of summary). To be clear, you absolutely need to be spending multiple paragraphs on each article you’re discussing, in order to have the space for presentation, contextualization, quotation, examples, analysis, and connections—all the textual-engagement skills we’ve been practicing all semester.
    Requirements: 800words

  • Prinsip-Prinsip yang Mendasari Perjanjian Kontrak Asuransi

Beberapa prinsip yang mendasari perjanjian kontrak asuransi antara lain:
Prinsip Utama atau Utmost Good Faith: Prinsip
    hilang.
    Prinsip Subrogation: Setelah perusahaan asuransi
