“Exploring Media-Specificity: A Historical Analysis of a Piece of Digital Literature”

Students must research and recount the history and development of  
one piece of digital literature from the course. Students must also explore the idea of  
“media-specificity,” explaining how the technology used to produce and deliver their  
chosen piece of digital literature affects its meaning.
