Title: The Power of the Market and the Role of Creative Destruction in Capitalism: A Critical Analysis of Friedman and Muir’s Perspectives on Inequality and Freedom

How can we define the power of the market: Does it consist of moral, coercive, and/or reciprocal power? What is “creative destruction?” Does this phenomenon have a stabilizing or destabilizing force on society? How do Friedman and Muir address the benefits and limits of capitalism in whether the system fosters inequality or promotes freedom?
