As you collect literature related to your topic of study, you will organize them by looking for patterns and developing subtopics. You will organize all your literature into categories that will serve as subtopic headings within the body of your literature review. You want to make certain that each section links logically to the one before and after, and that you have divided your sections by themes or subtopics, not by reporting the work of individual theorists or researchers.
