Now that you have examined the writer’s choices in relation to audience in the text you have chosen for the project, you will turn your attention to your own writing. This assignment will prepare you to identify the audience for each version of the paper you will write for your project, describe the needs of the audience, and describe the needs of the writing situation for your project.
Directions
For this assignment, you will address prompts about the audience and writing situation of your own writing using the template linked in the What to Submit section.
Specifically, you must address the following:
Identify an audience for your project.
Who needs the analysis of the text that you will communicate in your project?
This will be the primary audience you will address in your project.
Identify a second audience for your project.
Who else needs that information?
This will be the secondary audience you will address in your project.
Describe the writing situation for your project.
What do you think the writing situation is for your project?
Explain why each audience is appropriate for the content and writing situation.
Why are the two audiences you identified appropriate for the content and writing situation of your project?
