Instructions
For this discussion board, please pick one of the two writing prompts.
1) While men and women differ in their biological makeup, do they also differ in their personalities? For this discussion, explain how differences in gender influence one’s personality. Use at least one behaviorist theory from the textbook to support your perspective.
2) Previous research reports differences in personality between few categorical designations of gender and sexual orientation. Psychological research as a whole tends to focus on socially dominant groups to the exclusion of participants with marginalized identities and personality is no exception. Junkens et al. (2024) discusses the variation of personality across diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. After reading the following article, which of the following theories align most to how you conceptualize personality theory? Please offer your rationale.
