Having the available funding to support one’s campaign as a necessary resource in running for office. Interestingly — in doing some research, the ANA (American Nurses Association) has a PAC as do many individual state nursing organizations. In 2022, the ANA-PAC raised $239,000 for political contributions and donated $128, 500 (53.77%) to democratic candidates and $110,500 (46.23%) to Republican candidates. In this light, it seems that the ANA is very involved in the political process in terms of supporting RNs running for office.I welcome your thought?
