Title: Exploring the Subjectivity of Religion in Kierkegaard’s “The Sickness Unto Death”

Read Soren Kierkegaard, “The Sickness Unto Death” in our reader.
How can religion be subjective?  In order for there to be common beliefs amongst a group of people, there have to be certain rules for what the religion does and does not allow.  Can Kierkegaard justify a religious attitude alongside the extreme individualism he seems to espouse?  Why or why not (6 – 8 sentences).
