“Media and Social Issues: A Critical Analysis through Creative Expression”

Here is the grading rubric for the project, which you can consult as you finalize your project.
10 pts – choice of a clear political or social issue
20 pts – media created: well developed and executed piece of media (student does a good job of creating the        media)
20 pts – effectiveness of media created in clearly representing the chosen political or social issue (viewer can readily identify the political issue) 
25 pts – relevance of media and political or social issue to class, and sophistication of analysis (student not only has chosen a political issue and created a piece of media, but does so in a way that illustrates a particular facet of the issue, or that demonstrates the complexity of the issue)
