1. 5 – 7 minutes long.
2. You must have at least 4 different sources cited in the
speech. Only one of the sources can be strictly from a
nonprofessional Internet site. Books, magazines,
professional journals, and news sources found online
are fine.
3. You must use a visual aid in the speech. Follow the
guidelines given in class.
4. Keep trying to improve on your delivery skills. Be
communicative. Have fun! Use movement.
5. A typed outline with a separate bibliography page of
sources will be due right before your delivered
speech.
6. Any worksheets are due the day of your speech.
7. An informative speech should add to the knowledge
base of the majority of the audience. Unique topics are
fine IF you can back them up with research
