Visual Rhetorical Analysis Essay
Directions: Choose ONE image below and analyze it. Write a 750-800 word essay about your analysis of the image. Who is the audience? What is the image telling the audience? What is the purpose or purposes? Refer to your notes about the author’s purpose (to inform, to entertain, to persuade) and the types of rhetorical persuasions (pathos, ethos, logos). If you use any sources, then cite them within your essay and in your Works Cited page. Use MLA format – refer to Purdue OWL online for review or pages 304-347 in the textbook. Use Times New Roman font, 12 point (like these directions are printed), and double-spaced throughout your paper.
