This is an excellent opportunity to share your own culture and celebrate your
unique background. You may call upon friends or family members for their stories and accounts of customs,traditions, and beliefs.
• Research the customs/beliefs/traditions of that culture as it relates to pregnancy, childbirth, recovery, and newborns
• Suggest ways that we, as nurses, could incorporate these customs into our care.
• Prepare a short presentation with powerpoint on findings for the group
