Title: “Exploring Alienation in the Workplace: A Comparison of Marx’s Theory and Real-Life Experiences”

Research Question: How well does alienation describe these worker’s experiences both in the short videos and the documentary? Is it similar to the way Marx described? Evidence?

Instructions: Watch the “interview” videos marked “Alienation Interviews” #1 and #2. First viewing: Watch the videos all the way through and take notes on general impressions
Second viewing: Using your notes, pause the video when you see specific instances or quotes that match up to pieces of the theory. Note the time of the quote, write down the quote, and who is speaking.
Analysis:
These quotes are your evidence. Match them up with parts of your notes that they confirm or challenge. Give us the quote, who said it, and why is confirms or challenges some piece of the larger theory of alienation.
For the paper you will turn in attempt to answer the research question above in about 2 to 3 paragraphs (more is fine). When you use quotes give names (if available) and times in the videos. Argue whether or not alienation is a concept that helps to explain what these workers are experiencing.
Evidence for your argument can include:
