“The Timeless Themes of Gender and Power in Ibsen’s A Doll’s House and Glaspell’s Trifles: A Relevance to 2024”

Question
Which themes do Henrik Ibsen and Susan Glaspell present in their plays, A Doll’s House and Trifles and are these themes relevant to an audience of 2024?  Why or why not?
Explain in an answer of 10-15 sentences with some specific examples.

Citing in MLA Format
The play A Doll’s House does not have page numbers, so you will either cite the author’s name (Ibsen) or the play’s title (A Doll’s House).  The title of the play is in italics.  If you mention the author, Ibsen, in your answer, you will use the play’s title in your in-text citation.  If you don’t mention the author’s name and just an example from the play, then you will use the author’s name in your in-text citation.
The Play Trifles has page numbers, so you will have to cite either the page number (2/11) or the author’s name (Glaspell).  The title of the play is in italics.  If you mention the author, Glaspell, in your answer, you will use the play’s title in your in-text citation.  If you don’t mention the author’s name and just an example from the play, then you will use the author’s name in your in-text citation.
