“Exploring the Influence of College Majors on Sleep Patterns: An Analysis of Variance Study”

An analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted to compare the average hours of sleep among college students across three different study majors: Psychology (N = 50, M = 6.80, SD = 1.50), Biology (N = 50, M = 6.50, SD = 1.40), and Engineering (N = 50, M = 6.20, SD = 1.30). The overall F-test results revealed a significant difference between the groups, F(2, 147) = 4.27, p = .016, indicating that the students’ majors had an influence on their average hours of sleep.
