II.  Please submit a two-page essay––as a Word docx attachment––that connects with, or reflects on, anything from this week’s readings or classwork.  Rather than creating a simple analysis (which doesn’t usually yield the best writing), try to develop an idea, follow a direction, elaborate on a theme, argue for or against a position––or some kind of approach that works for you. And if you choose to write from the readings, you do not need to glean from both of them.
