This essay is designed to develop and test your ability to construct a clear and convincing argument about a selected feature film, based on detailed close analysis and drawing on ideas from the course and secondary research sources. 
As we mark your essay, we will be looking for the following things:

Integration of secondary sources and use of appropriate referencing

Your first page should include your name, student ID number, the question number(Question 1 in this case) and title of the film (This time, “Singin’ in the Rain” ) you have chosen to write about. Number your pages. Type double-spaced in a plain 12-point font with 2.5 cm margins on left and right. Note the total word count at the end of your essay.
