Title: “The Power of Ideology and Resistance in Colonial and Post-Colonial Societies”

Answer any TWO of the eight questions/prompts provided in essay format. Each essay should be about 3 pages double spaced. Your essays should have a clear thesis and should be very consise and to the point. Make an argument when answering the prompts and use examples. You do not need to make a huge deal about introductions and conclusions but make sure you clearly answer the question in an essay format. You are not required to use footnotes or give a bibliography, but referring to readings and giving examples is important in doing a good job. Full instructions are in a document provided. 10 additional documents containing notes on the course material with connections and examples are also provided, and the essay is built on those 10 documents of course reading notes. Please read all of the directions in the directions document thoroughly.
